What's the thinking on this one? He mentions in another tweet about it being a botched ending? Is he saying that it was a work and things got out of hand or was there genuine intent to injure him? Outside of the tweet I've not seen any footage.
AFAIK he counted a pin when Bodum didn't get his shoulder up in time. That's the botch. It led to the right team winning but the alleged attack ensued afterwards

The unsanctioned match that commentary said the company wanted no part of seemed nothing of the sort. They should've removed all references to AEW around the ring before the match. Possibly even let it play out with no commentary too and had the match with the lights turned on like the event had finished. Instead, Moxley and Jannela came out to their music (that AEW played for them) with a big AEW logo behind them to a match refereed by someone with an AEW badge on his top and had JR halfway through the match thanking people for tuning in and supporting the company. Just call it a no DQ match and be done with it. I reckon they could've made a big deal with the whole unsanctioned thing but failed. Disappointing

That's 100% what I thought coming out of it. Wasn't a big fan of the fake line but they didn't dwell on it so quickly forgotten.
I get the premise. They want to launch a big tag tournament when their TV starts. They want the "favourites" to be seeded somewhat with the byes but they want to use that to add meaning to matches that are happening now. It is convoluted. But they're obviously trying not to eliminate the other teams now because they need them to be part of it. I think having it be for a seeding in the tournament and then announcing later on that seeds enter in round 2 would have worked better.
Maybe I'm missing something but isn't a match where the winner gets a bye into the 2nd round of a tournament just the same as a 1st round match?

That dice graphic on the wall at 1:15 is surely a hint to something.. There's money put up for the video. AEW? Impact? Or could it be a massive WWE swerve?

The MLW:Fusion Episodes that have started airing on Freesports, are they up to date, or are they old episodes? Wouldn’t mind giving the promotion a go, but would rather jump in where they are now rather than play catch up
Current episodes.

Will Ospreay gets heat on here for public fundraising for his mum but Ricochet has started a gofundme for his now....

Love these two. Still gutted at the last minute cancellation of the lucha forever 'fight forever' show in London. Travelled down pretty much to see them. Recall Vampiro having a dig at Ospreay and Smile on twitter but don't really know what happened.Â

I've always argued this. Its all a matter of opinion, although you can't argue against it from a business standpoint. But when it boils down to it, NXT really is nothing more than a blatant attempt to step on the toes of existing smaller companies and indies and to squeeze out even more of a market share.
Their biggest achievement has been to con so many fans into believing that NXT is acceptable even if they don't like the"big bad corporate WWE." Very clever really.

Darin Corbin predates Baron Corbin by a few years, and is most known (or was, back when he was a semi-regular for CHIKARA) for doing a "slo-mo" wrestling spot.Â
I actually have a feeling Rob Naylor took inspiration for Baron's name from Darin Corbin, and they've joked about being related on Twitter in the past.
El Phantasmo is doing the slow mo thing at the moment...

Yep. Not surprising. This was always gonna happen unfortunately and was predicted by many

Ticketmaster crashed on me after id secured a decent balcony seat. They did seem to go on sale slightly before they should've done and by the time I was able to get back on the site they'd all gone. Gutted.Â

Tonight’s Liverpool taping was lots of fun. Paced brilliantly, the show was over by twenty to nine. Lovely.
What time did it start?
Thinking about the Takeover event on Saturday but for the money it'll no doubt cost id like more than just a couple of hours..

Volkoff was only 70?? I had him pegged way older than that for some reason. Guy looked like he was in his 40's during his 80's run.Â
But the 80s was 30 years ago... You can't have been far wrong

I've followed but not watched much WWE for a while. Caught Wrestlemaia weekend though.. How long has the ol' faithful slap been known as an open palmed strike?!

I haven't got around to watching EC yet and was staying out of here to remain as spoiler free as possible. This morning I figured I wasn't gonna watch it and came in here hoping for pages of review and discussion to kill half an hour. Well. What little comment there has been tells me so much more!!

I still cannot fathom that Tyler is 20. His wrestling instincts are impeccable. I've only seen his WWE matches, is he good when not wrestling familiar foes like Mandrews and Dunne?Â
3 years ago (when he was 17!!) I saw him in Dawley, Telford against Jay Lethal. He was always going to be a star...
Interestingly Mandrews and Dunne were on the same card.
Bate will be back in Dawley in a couple of weeks. Must be insane wrestling in Chicago one week and then just a few weeks later, being back in Dawley in front of a couple hundred..

Spike TV is on Freeview so a good deal tbh.Â
So, what do we think?
Â
And on the Ch5 network so presumably we could expect to see some promotion on the main channel... April 21 is a Friday. Should we assume they'll go straight into that week's episode?

To Maintain Legitimacy: During the Cold War we faked the moon landing. Shortly after they realized the reason they could not reach the moon was due to the flatness of the Earth. They were stuck in a lie, and had to continue it or lose legitimacy of our governments. Even today we would still hold onto this lie due to role Science plays in our ruling government.

There's no Killer Kross on that image.. Did I miss him coming to an agreement on his release or are they not just not booking him but ignoring the fact he's there even?!
