  1. Ive read online that as a downside the two main eventers got 500k a peice. Is this correct? I know theyl be add ons etc.... but how do UFC fighters who are not Brock, Mcgregor or the other of handfull of names get paid so little?

Theres rumours of Kovolev for his fight against Canelo getting paid anything between 10 and 20 million dollars, realistically somewhere around lower teens. And he is the B side.

Even the spread of purses amongst the UFC card on Saturday looked small. Where does all the money go?

    Is this roughly correct?

Jorge Masvidal: $500,000 def. Nate Diaz: $500,000
Darren Till: $240,000 (includes $120,000 win bonus) def. Kelvin Gastelum: $165,000
Stephen Thompson: $290,000 (includes $120,000 win bonus and $50,000 'Fight of the Night' bonus) def. Vicente Luque: $97,000 (includes $50,000 'Fight of the Night' bonus)

  2. The Crusher looks huge compared to Canelo. I love watching Canelo fight but he is a proven cheater and it sours it a bit for me, id like Krusher to beat him. Can see Canelo getting a contreversial decision.

Not arsed about the Matchroom card, probably wont watch any of it.

  3. Theres no doubt some of his stuff is quite vulgar and said for shock value but some of it i find quite funny. Pouting Kugan and the Ohara stuff. His most recent one he said Joshua kicked him out of his gym and called him a clown. Would be funny if Froch or someone levelled him.

The stuff he said about Crawfords wife was horrendous.

Both Taylor and Del Boy came across as stars last night...................................but Sauerland was still the star of the show.

    Look at that grin:

I bet he gets high quality shit. Pure Columbian.

  5. Taylor v Ritson could be a nice fight if they struggle to make the unificaton.

    Canelo v Kovolev next week?

Will have a look at this later

  6. Okolie kills the crowds for a couple of hours or so on these PPV shows. I get he’s had 14 fights, i get that he’s awkward, i get he’s a handful etc...... he’s the equivalent of a 20 minute Big John Studd bearhug on a drunk half asleep Andre The Giant.

Great main event. Chuffed Taylor won, he may now get mainstrean status. He’s everything thats good about boxing, a proper class act. Fairplay to Prograis as well, he could have bitched about the decision but he didnt. I loved his ring walk with his little fella.

  7. True regarding Prograis but i also think Taylor will up his game. Its definately a 50/50.

If Burns has anything left in the tank i could see him steam rolling Selby and actually stopping him.

i just put a fiver on draws in the selby fight (20/1) benn fight (25/1) and Taylor fight 20/1. Theres always a controversial draw on these big cards. Bet itl be fucking okolie now after stinking the whole place up by hugging and wrestling for 12 rounds.

  8. Price v Chisora.

Initially i thought Chisora around 5 rounds, no problem, but Price does seem confident and a Price win on points would not suprise me but i’m sticking with War Chisora in 5 or 6.

    Prograis v Taylor.

Havent saw a great deal of Prograis, just the clips on Sky recently. I’ve saw nearly all of Taylors fights and Taylor has the better resume So i’m going to stick with him on pts.

An outside bet is Connor Benn to lose on pts and Price to win. 280/1.

  9. Calling Wandshogan09 or Egg Shen.....

biggest boxing card of the year, an articulate rundown would have been nice!

i’m not capable of one. How do you see the fights going?

Unpopular opinion time, but even when I was a kid I thought toys were rubbish.

Same as, i can never remember playing with toys as such. I played things like connect four and card games, board games but never with transformers, figures or shit like that. I was most of the time. I was very feral.

  11. This is what wrestling should be. 1 hour light relief, no overthought story lines, bit of humour, bit of drama, fat men with fur on their boots. Tim Storm is so believable. Sandow is great, i like Aldis as well. What more do people want from a show?

  12. Yes i saw him, i remember he was on the card last year when Ritson lost and had another decent scrap, comes out in a wrestling mask.

Heres Big Tyson eyeing up Uysk from the other night.

I genuinally believe Hearn will have slipped him or the ref a few quid to get Johnson stopped early. Just to show that Bakolie stopped him and DDD went all the way with him.

    Correct Porkster.
