  1. I may have mentioned this to you before Woyzeck, but that exact thing happened to a friend of mine, hence my pop psychology. He started getting really obsessed with 9-11, even going so far as to organise a conference on it. He forced me to watch that shitty documentary on it, and when I pointed out a lot of the logical flaws in it he got quite angry.

6 months later he had a massive mental breakdown and was committed. He's been in and out ever since, unable to hold down a job or a relationship, and is really not the same person any more.

Which came first, the conspiracy nutdom or the mental illness I don't know, but they definitely fed off each other. This is why I'm quite anti-conspiracy theories - they are quite dangerous and life-altering if you're not clear-headed enough to understand them as the urban mythology they really are.

That's really interesting, because mental illness and interests in conspiracy theories go hand in hand a fair bit. I tend to think that people with serious mental conditions will latch onto this kinda thing, in the way that a lot of people with severe learning difficulties have a "thing" like trains or wrestling that they're obsessed with. Conspiracy theories become dangerous because so many other people buy into it that they're not told they should stop, but rather that they're the only ones seeing the truth, unlike those sheep out there. If you're a bit crazy and into digging around about conspiracies you probably feel as though they're figuring something out like a detective, falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole and wanting to share this big, world-shattering truth with others, then becoming frustrated when they don't see it. Can't help feelings of paranoia and detachment from society either.

  2. I've been playing, nay LIVING, Golden Sun on the GBA. Amazingly this is my first real taste of turn-based strategy RPG's and I've really been sucked into it. At first I was all attack attack attack with the big guns, but now I'm all about the tactics. I really want to go out and discover the turn based strategy games I feel I've missed out on...

  3. Don't forget Deaq!

Or you for that matter  Thats funny coming from you tho. Your the master of the white noise with your 2 or 3 words posts that nobody responds to.

The irony of this being that you replied to one of those three word posts.

Yeah a 3 word post with my username in. Thing is the Paid members vote who get in this thing and the rest vote who win's. The only people who would vote for me to be in here are 1's who always read everything i post and reply to start a argument. Even if what they accuse me of doing they there self do all the time in a much grander scale. The people the you will expect to respond to this and now wont are the perfect example of what im talking about.

I accuse you over being a pompous, smug, overbearing piece of broken down shit. If you're not bragging about your amazing sporting prowess you're reminding everyone of how big the plasma TV's are in your many houses.. which is a nice slice of irony considering your "OTHER PEOPLE DO IT ON A GRANDER SCALE THO!" argument.

  4. Who are Wings?

So anyone who says has "could have been" in a sentence is immediately quoting Alan Partridge? I didn't even think once of that when I was watching The Shadow. I suppose when I eat toblerone, make friends with a geordie or watch a Bond film i'm just trying to be like Alan Partridge too? Fuck off mate, you aren't impressing anyone.

    Bet I am

  5. I'm currently playing Ninja Five-O for the GBA. Absolutly unreal game! Apparently very hard to find these days. They say a picture paints a thousand words, so have several thousand words:
