Some handy advice to anyone with this problem from Yahoo. The guys source was experience. Grim reading

If you are to the point where you sit on the toilet and are straining hard and can feel the stool trying to come out then you are past the point of stool softeners and other things helping.

What it is is that you have constipation and it has become impacted to where it is too big to pass the sphincter muscle.

The advise I am about to give you isn't a joke. It's real and the same thing a doctor will do if you go to the emergency room.

First thing you should try is an saline enema. Go to Walgreeens or some other pharmacy and get an enema. They cost a couple of dollars. Follow the direction on the box. While you are there also pick up a jar of vasoline. I know it's embarrasing but it beats having to go to the emergency room. If the impaction isn't too bad the enema will work for you and you will pass the stool. If not you will have to go to step 2. You will have to use your finger and the vasoline to reach into your rectum and break up the stool and pull some out. This is exactly what a doctor does. If you can't pass the stool within 3 days you MUST go to the doctore immediately. You can rupture your intestines and actually die.

I recommend using rubber surgical gloves which you can also buy along with the saline enema and Vasoline. If you want buy them at different locations so you don't buy it all at once and cause more embarrasment. Trim your fingernail also.

Use lots of Vasoline. You can't use too much, the more the better. Lube up your finger real good and also lube up your rectum. Sit on the toilet and strain like your are going to have a bowel movement. Then insert your finger slowly and you will clearly feel the stool. Use your finger like a hook and try to break small pieces of it off and pull it out. It may just be one impacted piece go the side that is keep the stool from coming out.

Work on it a little at a time and take breaks. Don't panic and take your time. It's very scary when you can't pass a stool. And stool softeners won't help at this point but they will help the current food being digested. If you keep pulling pieces of the stool of with your finger it will eventually come out. You can kind of feel if there are large pieces sticking out to the side stopping it from coming out. Or the whole thing may just be too big. Small pieces become packed together at the rectum when you have constipation. And the stoll can become very big. The rectum and sphincter can stretch and easily accomodate your finger working on the stool. Just have lots and lots of Vasoline and keep adding it on. I know it seems gross but it is a normal procedure for any doctor or regular health worker. And having a bad impaction can be very scary! So give it a try. Remember, try the saline enema first and follow the directions. Then go to the next step of using your finger and Vasoline to slowly work small parts of the stool out. You are basically breaking small pieces of it off until you can pass the rest. Keep trying. You may even notice small amounts of red blood because of microscopic tears in the tissue. Very small amounts of red blood look a lot bigger in the water. So don't panic if you see a little on the pieces of stool you bring out.

It's normal. If you can not pass this stool within 3 days you MUST go to the doctor immediately. DO NOT WAIT ANY LONGER BECUASE YOU CAN DIE. GO ON THE 3RD DAY TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IF YOU CAN'T GET INTO A REGULAR PHYSICIAN. They will give you an enema at the hospital and then a doctor will use his finger to pull your stool out.

Also, if you are having any abdominal pain other than normal constipation pains go to the doctor immediately!!

Good luck and stay calm. Don't be grossed out or embarrased. It's part of being a human being. There are time when a wife will have to do this for her husband or vice versa. You will feel so much better after you get this stool out. Once done make sure to eat more fiber and maybe take a stool softener on a regular basis. Or drink a few glasses or prune juice daily. If you have regular constipation problems see a doctor about it.

Cound't you try and poke and dislodge with some tissue? A few times wrapped around the index and middle finger would give you a decent tool to use.

I gave up watching live during Los Matadores and 3MB, will catch up later. One thing that did get me was Bryan coming down after clearly spending the last few hours crying, having Brie in the ring for support had me chocked up, it was just so real.

I watched Wolf Creek 2, film was average but John Jarratt gives another great performance. Mick Taylor is up there with my favorite horror movie bad guys.

Davros is the Onion Knight that knocks round with Stannis, he's still played by Liam Cunningham. Daario Naharis, the new guy knocking round with Daenerys was recast, which is a shame I liked the guy they had before. There're a few recasts this year, some great some not so good.

Also are there enough readers of the books on here to warrant a book thread? Would be good to discuss differences between the book and show and possible different directions the show is going.

No doubt you're right and in terms of progressing with the story, an active roster member would make more sense. It's just against Hogan, it would make a lot more noise. Could probably generate enough of buzz that people sign up to the network. Once they do that, they have them for 6 months.

Cancer Research has just said they have received close to a million unexpected text donations since yesterday. Donations at local shops have also seen a rise. This is great news.

Anyone have a link to merchandise sales, broken down by Superstar? I'm not debating Cena shifts the most, but would be a interesting read. Would like to see if any other trends effect booking.

All this talk between Bray and Cena about destroying his legacy and seeing who Cena really is, leads me to believe this could be the feud that turns Cena heel. Maybe turning on Hogan at Mania? I'm probably just blowing dust off a broken record, but just something about the things Bray was saying.

A lot of my friends did share the link to the cancer research website, but I actually didn't think that was necessary. A load of pictures of my female friends without make up would have made me want to find out more regardless, either online or the next day at work. Isn't that how viral campaigns work?

The negative reactions to this are actually good. Would all the detractors have posted pictures of the donation text number without the flooding of the pictures?

Some people have suggested that some girls are only doing it for there own vanity, and again if it promotes discussion then I don't have an issue with this. I'm confident all girls I have on Facebook are genuinely trying to help the cause, so good on them.

I'm proof sharing these photos does raise awareness, after seeing so many I was intrigued as to what it was all about. Did a bit of research, and I now know more about cancer and ways I can help then I did before.

It's hard for people to talk about things like cancer, so if things like this can break down a few walls and get people thinking, talking, helping or donating then it's all good.

I really don't see why people have a issue with it.

I'm a big Lions fan and yesterday we cut Burleson and Delmas. I agree with letting Delmas go, injuries were always an issue. He played all 16 games last year but missed most practices. He's a career ending injury waiting to happen.

Burleson going sucks, I think he still had something to offer. On and off the field.

The consensus is Lions will take a corner or WR with there 1st draft pick, with Nate gone I think it needs to be the latter now. We need to find someone who will benefit from the attention shown to Megatron, even better if we get someone that will take some attention away from him. It's designed for people to watch, sneer, look down their noses and say 'look at that Cov, its a fucking shithole and they're all scumbags'. The fact that a, no doubt manufactured, clip of a woman getting her kids to go on the rob is one of their key scenes sort of says the lot.

For what it's worth, this anger isn't aimed at Mo, really. I'm sure it's very tempting to be the next Mr Essex or whatever. People wanting a crack at fame doesn't surprise or offend me.
