Moment of the Year- Shibata attacks kenta after joining the bullet club. A very old Japanese man wept next to me when I saw this, the heat was insane. Cody/Dustin post match (I was the old man in this situation)

Funniest moment of the year - Jericho's parody video

Best tag team - Christ I wish someone booked a decent tag division (I have heard there are some well booked British ones but I haven't seen them unfortunately

Hey guys, having lived abroad for ages I had no idea how hard it was to get tickets to britwres events! The demand is great for the scene but shit for me as I'm only in the country for a short while. Is there a secondary market for tickets at all or is a sell out just impossible to get to? Thanks for any help.

Hey guys, I was hoping to attend the live at the cockpit show on Jan 1st. I only saw season ticket options. Is it possible to buy tickets for just this event? Also how far ahead do they announce the cards. Thanks if you can help

Has anyone been watching the tag league? Found it quite hard to keep up with. Really enjoyed the Suzuki Gunn match. If anyone has been watching any in ring highlights?

Very little love for Osprey as WOT(H)Y. He has been incredible this year. 

I think that would just mean we quibble on what storyline means. 3 on the spot. The developing Relantionship of Moxley and Umino. The possibility of Naito/Ibushi meeting in the finals and destroying each others necks. Sanada repeatedly losing to Okada. Evil not joining in the LIJ hand thing. These are all storylines as I see them.

I think it's pretty safe to say new Japan uses storylines. 

I think I didn't explain myself there. I meant was there a match where he debut  his new finisher and was it storyline relevant. I wondered if there were stories or matches based around it. 

Hi guys, I figure this is the best place for this question. I have heard that Jushin lyger replaced his SSP finish for the palm strike/shotai (spelling?) Due to injury. Can anyone explain how this happened? How did he get the shotai over and can anyone recommend me matches where this happened?

Only thing I would change is giving Ishii the belt. Its a crime if he never holds that. I'd like to see a bit more possibility of upwards momentum of some mid card guys. On the whole the booking is tremendous band I was terrified when I heard the rumor he was stepping down as booker.

I have decided to attend the G1 finals this year. If anyone could help me as to how to actually purchase tickets from abroad (umm.. as in not Japan) I will love them forever. Please help if you can! Im looking for tckets for the final 3 nights (and the osaka shows but they are less urgent). So, any help would be incredibly appreciated!

So not to fantasy book or anything... But... if the worst case scenario for NJPW happens and all of the Elite and Kushida leave,  we could be faced with more than one Tai Chi main event this year. Who do you think could be brought in to help what feels like a thin roster? Or do you think internal elevation is the best answer?

Could someone help me understand the relationship between NOAH/AJPW/Dragon Gate/NJPW please? It seems the NJPW roster may be a little slim this year. Do they ever raid other Japanese promotions? There seem to be some exceptional guys working in Japan that NJPW could use but I have heard trading or just stealing talent doesn't happen to much there. Also are there any young boys currently on excursions?

I know last year they announced the dates for the final three shows (and the fact it was at Budokan) during Wrestle Kingdom. Not sure if they had the full tour dates though. IIRC, it was part of an announcement for all the big show dates between January and August.

And thank you very much. Was hoping to organise a holiday around the last 3 G1 weekend shows. If I know I'm going to the finals, I am going to be shitting myself watching the tournament. I'm really excited with the idea of this.

This is a pretty refreshing thread. I don't know what it is about the Meltz, but for some reason he raises a huge amount of ire I have never understood. 35 - 40 odd thousand words a week for 35 years or so is really ridiculous. He must have written more than L Ron Hubbard. I was actually suprised to hear people complain about his writing. Not his typos which there are way too many of, but his writing quality. I think he has an excellent sportswrting syle, it's one of the best things about the observer for me.
