I watched Death Before Dishonor 8 yesterday. Black/Richards was brilliant. And from what i have read on twitter this morning, the match they had on HDNet last night is just as good.

ROH are having a great year, hope it continues.

Kyle O'Reilly certainly has potential as a singles wrestler in ROH.

Had to work till 8 so just ordered my tickets now. Gone for rows F-J on both nights. The hall looks brilliant for wrestling, cant wait.

Well, in all the crazy history of this place, I believe this may actually be a UKFF first.

 

On Tuesday night, I was visited at my flat by the police, who were following up a complaint against me personally for harassment of her son. Yes, they were talking specifically about an entry in the "Shit List".

 

It was a rather strange experience trying to explain to two coppers exactly what the UKFF was, what the UKFF UK50 was, and how it worked ("Are you the Ben Corrigan who writes for the UK Fan Forum website?"..."Erm......Yes?!"), though they seemed happy enough with my co-operation. They suggested that I add a disclaimer to entries to reiterate what I had already stated, in that these were not my own personal views and opinions, just a collation of those from all the fans/wrestlers/promoters that had contributed to the list.

 

As such, I have decided to remove most of the text from Surf Grafitti's "Shit List" entry. While I'm not sure exactly what the law actually is, and whether quoting the stories that other UKFFers contributed as a write-up actually constitutes harassment, but at least this way it prevents future complications or further complaints from the party in question.

Anyway, been avoiding this thread for three weeks cos i never had time to watch the episodes. All caught up now from The Van Gough episode onwards. The guy playing Van Gough deserves an award for his excellent performance in that episode, he really moved me.

This series has been amazing so far. They've really built to this finale so well and i can't wait to see it. That last episode was great and they really piled the odds against The Doctor at the end to the point it looked the universe had ended. So excited.

And also, this series of Doctor Who has been better than seasons 5 and 6 of Lost by far. And i say that as a huge Lost fan.

Today's game was incredible. The look on the faces of those Pakistani fans as they went from comfortably winning to Hussey knocking them all over the place was priceless.

I went Eddie/Brock. Best title match of the decade by far.

Shocked that Piper's pre-mania promo didn't make it. It's the only interview from this year that's in the promo transcripts thread. Says a lot for individual performances involving a microphone this year.

I voted Christian because he is only one of those that hasn't actually been pushed in any way. Yes they gave him the ECW title but we all know it's more of a punishment for going to TNA by debuting him on the third brand the way they did.

Despite his lack of push, the live crowds get behind him because his work in the ring is just so damn good. He gives his all in every single match he competes in and i doubt he has had a bad match all year because he can have a good match with anybody.

He's like one of those hard working British wreslter's that turns up at a town hall in front of a couple hundred people, they don't know him or his regular spots but after 10 minutes of work, that guy is their hero for the night.
