  1. Announced for the next iPPV "Honor Takes Center Stage" on April 1st is Roderick Strong or Eddie Edwards vs. Christopher Daniels for the World title. And also the Kings of Wrestling vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team for the tag belts.

I can't see Shelton Benjamin staying on the independents past the summer (If he goes to TNA i can see Charlie going too) so i think they'll get a reign with the tag belts just to make the headlines.

  2. It gives Homicide an edge. Since his return he's been quite well behaved. He'll be far better as a tweener going after everyone.

Hope they start announcing the roster for Atlanta soon and i really hope we get some special appearances. From NOAH/NJPW stars preferably.

  3. Whats the situation with The Flash? I know a few years ago they were all ready to go with Adam Brody in the lead role, but it all went to pot. I read an interview with him recently saying he doubts it'll get back on, so was just wondering if there had been any other news?

There was some news about this going around. I think a writer was hired and a general feel of the movie talked about by DC people. They want it to be a dark, CSI based, detective movie. Sounds good to me.

First proper image of a suited up Captain America also leaked today.

  4. Tyler Black vs. Davey Richards @ ROH Death Before Dishonor 8.

John Cena vs. Batista @ Wrestlemania 26.

Shingo vs. Susumu Yokosuka @ Dragon Gate UK: Shingo vs. Yokosuka II.

Dragon Gate USA Six Man Tag Match at Phoenix, Mercury Rising PPV.

El Generico vs. Kevin Steen @ ROH Final battle 2010.

  5. It was a great PPV by ROH.

The opening tag was a lot of fun. O'Reilly and Cole make a great team and they should fill the gap left by the Young Bucks.

Colt Cabana vs. TJP was great. Flawless chain wrestling. Would love to see them do a longer match, perhaps a 2/3 falls or 30 minute iron man match.

The women's tag was okay, better than WWE/TNA womens matches but that was expected.

Edwards/Dutt was okay but both guys lack any kind of crowd work what so ever. It was just a series of carefully planned routines.

Homicide/Daniels was fun for what it was but if this was 5 years ago it would have been a far more hard hitting, far faster and far better match.

6 man tag was fun too. The whole show was fun up to this point.

Then it gets very serious. Strong/Richards was fantastic, great story told at the finish. On par with the Richards/Black series.

Generico/Steen was brutal. I agree with the points made about the last three near falls but it had to come down to Generico's revenge chair shot. It was like beautiful poetry.

Great end to the year. Best wrestling PPV all year from any company anywhere. 2011 is going to be great for ROH.

  6. Just finished Tag Wars 2010. Another great Davey/Tyler match, hope their HDNet blow off match is released soon, it's meant to be MOTY from ROH. Can't wait to see their final match.

Also from this show Eddie Edwards vs. Colt Cabana is a great technical contest. The holds, the pins, the sequences, it's all just flawless wrestling.

The Tag Wars match is okay, i like the DCFC but they need to work with the Kings and the Wolves more to start learning the ROH style better.

Next up is the Fade to Black and Glory By Honor IX weekend DVDs.

  7. Currently making my way from Hate: Chapter II up to Glory by Honor IX. Spoilers ahead!

Hate isn't all that great. Wolves vs. GenMe is alright but it feels like i've seen it all before.

Salvation has a real good Wolves vs. Cabana/Generico match, a good Strong vs. Aries match and a cracking main event between Tyler Black and Kevin Steen.

Champions Challenge has two great singles matches in Richards vs. Steen and Tyler vs. Eddie Edwards.

Kevin Steen's performances at Salvation and Champions Challenge are just brilliant. Great heel work. Based off these two matches i'd say he is a strong contender to be ROH World Champion in 2011 and carry the company, the guy is just so fucking good on these shows.

Up next is Tag Wars with Steen vs. Strong, if Steen can have a good match with Roddy my point will be proven about how important Steen will be next year after the Generico feud. Also can't wait to see the rematch from Death Before Dishonor between Tyler and Richards. Colt Cabana said on his podcast that his match with Edwards on this show was his most enjoyable match in a long time so i'm looking forward to that one too.
