Just seen a programme on BBC3 about unemployed people getting jobs; Invasion Of The Job Snatchers. Anyone see it?

I don't think Richard Wilson ever got over being tagged as Victor Meldrew. Whatever part he gets he's bound to get someone shouting 'I don't believe it' at him.

Richard Wilson as done well following One Foot In The Grave though. He doesn't live his Victor Meldrew gimmick though, quite the opposite. I attended a lecture/ Q&A he was running several years ago, and he made it clear he refuses to say the catchphrase.

Although he did look well, I did think at the time (WM & Raw) that physically he may have been ill. The way he walked, he seemed bandy & breathless, but didn't expect this. Also from his comments at HOF when he said no way would there be "One More Match" which shocked me because only a few years back I'm sure he stated if he returned to WWE he would like a WM match with Vince McMahon. It also wasn't that long ago he fought Orlando Jordan.

 

The fact they didn't show him enter the ring or him moving the ropes shows that something was wrong. Really sad either way.

Just watched his promo off Raw back. They do keep cutting away from him, but it does show him enter the ring and shake the ropes briefly. Looking back at it, it makes me wonder if he has something wrong with his lungs, emphasemia or something. The way he's breathing and struggling to walk.

Did he take the UW trench coat from under the ring? Wonder why the didn't have him walk out with it already on, and face paint on.

I was gutted he wore a mask on Raw & not his proper UW paint.

It was good seeing Cesaro become a Heyman Guy, but does blur the lines of heel/face. King of Swing is a good moniker. I liked the way Zeb Colter was arguing about Cesaro jumping ship, reminded me of the glory days of managers in wrestling. Maybe they felt Cesaro needed a mouthpiece hence getting Paul Heyman. What face could they have used as his manager/ mouthpiece?

William Regal!

Yeah I thought him with them both being Europeans, but Regal would also play a good heel manager.

What was the deal with Goldust mentioning Undertaker and his previous biker gimmick, Cody seemed to be corpsing at the end.

Because Bad News Barrett kicked the toy of Undertaker on his bike over.

To promote the toys.

Was undertaker even on a bike? Why are they making toys of his old gimmick? Also mentioning it on TV before his return seemed weird to me, like he wasn't supposed to say it.

I voted Paul Heyman again, although for a non wrestler he's took some beatings & been in a few matches.

Shame for Brad Maddox he is actually a trained wrestler but obviously in a non wrestler role. Has he actually wrestled this year before he was made GM?

Got to be Paul Heyman for me, he's so good at drawing heel heat.

Some of the wrestlers on this list are very good wrestlers, just dull to watch. I voted Jinder.

As much as Great Khali is a rubbish wrestler, he is like car crash TV, which can be quite entertaining. So I voted Mr.Kennedy, he's always bored me.

Does anyone think Scotty 2 Hotty looks like Shawn Michaels now?

Seemed to be random pairings with CM Punk & New Age Outlaws, Cena with Ric Flair, and then Jake the Snake making the save for Punk & NAO.

I would of preferred Snake to return at Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant. Think he could still be a good on screen character though.

What's happening with Kane, when he first list mask I was looking forward to a new character, corporate Kane, but he hasn't wrestled or been involved physically with anyone since the change.
