Whatever happened to Carbomb?
-
Do you have to be a rambling, illiterate fuckwit to run a wrestling promotion in this country?
Â
Genuine question.
-
I cannot watch that Hennig video without thinking "Dolph Ziggler" right the way through.
-
I've got Coronation Street on in the background for the first time in forever. Rosie Webster's fallen off a cliff since I last saw her.
-
This is undoubtedly one of the greatest wrestling video packages ever produced. Probably the best non-WWE video I've ever seen. I can't recommend it enough.
Â
-
The other half ended it earlier so I can't imagine I'll be getting the best night's sleep. I'll be in.

When does PepperPlunge's ban end?

Come back...

Let's fantasy book - pretend like a show is on. Anything.
Â
Probably a ridiculous question but could we all sit through an old school PPV every Tuesday from 8 o'clock and pretend it's '98 again? We'll decide which PPVs they're going to be in advance so we all have chance to get hold of a copy/download it.
-
Tuesdays. Nothing in the world takes place on a Tuesday evening. Can we start something in the chat every Tuesday evening?
-
Does anybody know the last WWE tag team match where the heel team were in the corner at the top left-hand of the hard camera screen?
-
Why do WWE have Referees Inside the cage In cage matches. It seems unnecessary .
WWE seemed to start this practice In the 90's,before that they only had referees outside the ring.

For pin-falls and submissions.

Please could someone be so kind as to post the e-mail address A Screen Up created to serve as a Rumble video requester? I

No, I wasn't saying that the list alone should have done it, and looking back I've not worded it very well at all. I was meaning that the magazine has fallen so much within the last few years and if the niche that he targets his publication towards are shitting over his ever word and decision then I don't understand how he can keep making a go of it.
-
As much as I would hate to wish anything negative on any small business I cannot fathom how Fin is still managing to make a go of the mag, and it must be time to throw in the towel anytime now. He's aiming his publication at an ever-diminishing niche which was small enough to begin with. It must have been hard enough for him when business was good; taking into account the current financial climate, the fact that FSM seems to be on the up, and the internet in general and you really do wonder how he manages to keep it going.
Â
You don't get a much more 'hard core' fan base than those visiting a wrestling forum, and the general opinion on here when he put Tanahashi in the number one spot on the PS 50 should have been a proverbial bullet going through the publication's head. He'd be better off reporting on JN Phoenix and his mates; head drops on school mats are his sort of thing anyway.
-
Sorry, but why would you apply for a position providing your services to a publication which you'd not researched prior to doing so?

If the sign-up dates didn't say otherwise I'd have said he was the second coming of crawlingwest.
Second coming? crawlingwest is still here.
Â
I thought he was banned for some reason?

Opening that at work surrounded by managers for the win. Thanks for not labaelling that NSFW you cunt.
Â
You opened this thread whilst your work managers were around you? I'd have rather explained the picture of the girl shitting than a semi naked PepperPlunge, like.
Â
Still, it should have been tagged as NSFW.
-
Thanks for that, man

I appreciate your reply but I would assume WWE has to own the rights to the World Heavyweight belt because they're the ones who reap the profits from the sales of the replicas. If they didn't wouldn't TNA and other groups sell their own replicas of it?
Â
I never knew about the ECW tag team titles been the IC belt though!
-
Are promotions legally allowed to use replica WWE belts on their shows? I'm sure I saw a picture of a World Heavyweight title with a XWA logo stuck on it.
Â
Thanks in advance.

The channel for this has a 16-hour Four Horsemen playlist so it's a winner for me.

Interesting find there, Low Ki. It really is surprising that more of the wrestlers aren't injured on a more regular basis, regardless of how safe people say their in-ring style is these days. I know you've got the likes of Mysterio and Undertaker etc who seem to have recurring problems, but when you look at how long they've been in the business and how many surgeries they've put back, it's hardly surprising.
Â
The psychological and mental toll that they must be racking up on themselves must be rather worrying, especially when you like at guys like The Miz who was on talk-shows and the like constantly as champion whenever he wasn't performing (and quite often on the same days as he was), only for him to have fallen back into the shuffle as soon as he dropped the belt.
Â
John Cena has to be one of the most hard-working and traveled men of any profession over the past decade.
