In the end I went with Bucks/Cavs double result at 5/1 which went well but it was in an 4-fold with Bulls on the spread (think it was -1.5) which let me down. The other selections was Lakers and Hawks both with no handicap.

Looks like there seems to be money to be won on the nba though so going to try and follow more closely! Thanks for all your insight Ron,I'm finding it proper helpful mate!

I trapped a fucking huge spider the other day at my girlfriends in a pint glass. It was stupidly big and when I was looking for a bit of paper to slide under so I could chuck it outside I genuinley thought it was gonna push the glass over. Bloody massive thing kept trying to escape and wouldnt accept being trapped. Think it had shoulders tbf!

Yeah I'm sure the actual fire wouldn't of been that much if a problem, but how would they of had Kane bleed? Can't remember too much of the TV at the time so I just sort of assumed that with the stipulation and the fire thing they just sorta though bugger he's gonna have to win now!

Wasn't it also a first blood match which would of been hard to do because of Kanes mask? Also didn't Kane say he would set himself on fire if he lost? They sort of booked themselves into a corner. Obv the theory about getting a raw rating is true too though.

I caught an episode of Dirty Sanchez last night and they did some sort of angle at an FWA show. Some big lad ran down and laid them out with a chair and what I assume was his finisher. Who was the wrestler and what show was it at? Did any more come of it?

Also thinking about it in the Sanchez movie they get battered in Japan by a bunch of Japanese wrestlers. Any info on who those guys was and if any of them became anything?

Has anyone ordered off the official NBA or NFL shops? There is a sale going and when the dollars convert into pounds it works out like 20 quid or so for a jersey. Does anyone know if they smash you on delivery or through customs?

 

I've never had a problem with custom charges with the NBA shop and I own over 100 jerseys. You should be fine.

I used to love hip hop when I used to think I was American and listen to Rap and wear pretty much exclusivley NBA or NFL jerseys. Hows times have changed! I used to love Jadakiss and Beanie Sigel, do the have any recentish stuff knocking about?

I somehow have got really into Joey BadA$$. 1999 is a great little listen. Can anyone recommend anybody about whos like him atm? He reminds me of Lupe Fiasco and I used to love him when I was a bit younger! Also a bit like a younger Kanye too.

Was it Alex Shane vs Jack Xavier in FWA at...whatever show it was that had CM Punk vs Raven? It was my first live show as a fan. If memory serves, Jack got thrown off the stage and landed badly - but was fine. In an interview or something somewhere, someone said what happened is that everyone got concerned, thinking it was a real injury, so told him to stay down. He thought they were telling him to keep selling, so kept still. So it went longer than it would have done otherwise, which came off a bit awkward.

That rings a bit more of a bell mate. Cant be to sure as I seem to remember everyone saying it was a good finish and that but that seems to fit the criteria a bit more. Maybe im just recalling what I read a bit wrong!

I remember reading about match finishes on here ages ago and there was one that I can still remember. It was from a British show I think and it was something along the lines of a Last Man Standing match and Wrestler A faked an injury but everyone brought it as legit so the match stopped, medical team came down etc then he jumped up after a few mins and hits a superkick on Wrestler B thus winning the match.

Anyone have a clue what Im talking about and what show it was on? Cheers in advance lads.

So today at work a few lads found out that I like wrestling. No major piss taking and a few of the lads was actually interested in who was still about and where the old boys was etc. Anyways one of the lads was asking about bits I rember and was asking if I remembered someone (He thinks it was Jericho) cashing in Money in the Bank on someone who was asleep to win the WWF Title. I said that didnt happen and he may be confusing it with a random hardcore title match with 24/7 rules but he was so certain. Obviously I know that Y2J never cashed in a mitb on a sleeping champion, but does anyone have any idea at all what he may be confusing his memory with?

Yeah Cornette guest booking the Invasion was a bit ridic. Dosent he have Taker come back to stop Funk or something along those lines? And his WM card is mental aswell.

Im liking Iceland to win and both teams to score at 28/1 with Ladbrokes. Normally wouldnt go near it but like mentioned above its a one of game,theyve gotta give it ago!
