Would this be on Ticketmaster’s Twitter? We’ve got 4 tickets up in the gods but there’s much better tickets now available for less money. I would love to ‘upgrade’ and get our money back. Don’t like my chances though.

If anyone wants to go ‘full Karen’ about this, I laid it on very thick and had a response from Don Pawley (senior Vice President of something or other at Ticketmaster) saying he’d hand it over to head of customer services. May amount to nothing but more chance this way.

I also emailed some other executives/CEO types. They have the same email with first name full stop second name.

  2. Well, that was awesome. I think CM Punk is a bit of a see you next Tuesday but I am so excited for next week. It’s my daughter’s birthday party on Saturday and I’m half-ashamed to say I will be mostly focussed on finding a slot in the day to watch Rampage.

  3. I’m so, so upset about Hangman losing. If they want me to be this upset so that his redemption at All Out is all the sweeter, then excellent… what a story of highs and lows it would be.

I’m just really worried that in a few weeks, they’ll want me to want Punk to beat Omega now. Fuck that. Page or bust.

  4. AEW 2021 may be the most I’ve ever enjoyed wrestling ever.

That felt like a 1997 crowd! Into absolutely everything, not trying to sabotage anything or take matters into their own hands to get people over.  And you know why? Because they don’t feel like their intelligence is being insulted and they feel like AEW gives them what they want.

I honestly think AEW could get me to pay £100 for Omega vs Page.

  5. Does anyone remember an Ultimate Warrior video hyping his return to the WWF for In Your House 5 in December 95 that never happened? I never see it written about/spoken about but I’m 100% sure I remember this.

It would have been on Superstars or Wrestling Challenge, the final one before the IYH pay per view. No mention of Warrior return at the show up until this and then no Warrior at the PPV and no mention after until WMXII build.

I remember being so confused when I watched WWF programming the week after IYH 5 and there was no mention of Warrior.

I think about this at least twice per week.

It’s airing live on the Network as it’s a special not a regular week NXT so it’ll be treated as such and be on demand

Confirmed or assumed? Not being funny, just wondering.

They’re usually on there to stream straight away, it’s just the TV that’s had a week delay. Whether that’s changed or not now they’ve gone to Peacock in the US and with this two shows being midweek, I don’t know, but normally they are there the following day

Yes my only worry is that Takeover Night 1 is taking the place of the weekly TV show on USA and BT Sport, so will it be seen by WWE/BT etc as NXT TV and be delayed to stream as usual, despite the simulcast? I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere so it’s just a fingers crossed situation I suppose! Both nights look great.

Takeover Night 1 is airing simultaneously on USA/BT and Peacock/Network on Wednesday, with the latter airing commercial free

Does anyone know whether Night 1 will be available to stream the day after? I’m worried that I will have to wait a week to watch like the usual NXT TV show unless I watch live.

  9. I've never heard any reasoning as to why Survivor Series 1992 didn't have any elimination matches (I know they had a sort-of-SS match with the tag teams). It's never come up on any podcasts or in any magazines/books I read.

The logical reasoning, looking at the roster at the time, is that it simply wasn't deep enough to go all-in with the elimination matches as in previous years.

I just rememeber as a kid being really confused when the whole format of the show changed.

    Is there a story there?

Was it real heat or just ''you're really fucking shit at wrestling'' heat? Regardless, I'll miss her, if only for my guilty pleasure that is Total Divas.

Isn't that the closest thing that you get to real heat nowadays outside of The Miz (and even he is getting Yes chants for his supposedly heel Daniel Bryan kicks now).

  11. Subscribers... is it true that payment is taken on the first of the month? In other words, if I'm signing up, does it make sense for me to wait a few days until August as opposed to paying for July then paying for August in a few days.

Also... is it still 999 yen (roughly 7 quid)?

    thanks!

  12. Hi everyone, not posted on here in years. Basically wanted some New Japan match recommendations that will be easy to find on YouTube.

Not followed the promotion closely since 2004 or 2005 when Sasaki, Nagaga etc were on top so that's a helluva lot to catch up on. Wanted to see some semi-recent stuff before I decided to pay for the streaming service. Assume I am NJPW-ignorant.

    Thanks in advance!
