This government are an absolute jokeÂ
Apparently, councils agreed to restrictions but the restrictions agreed were no meeting in homes or gardens . The hospitality sector was not included or never discussed. Matt hannock changed the statement without ever agreeing with the councilsÂ

They are absolute clownsÂÂ
itâs been cleared up now that it is just homes and gardens u canât mix , but u can legally mix with 6 people in a pub bar or restaurant.Â
Âso what there saying is I can go on an all day session in a pub all day but going back to my house for drinks isnât allowed . Itâs madÂ

So the Birmingham Lockdown begins on Tuesday (obviously) but from whats been said so far it seems that it comes down to - you can't have anyone round your house. Pubs, restaurants, shops, leisure centres, bingo halls, cinemas, saunas appear to be ok but you can't have your mom (that's how it's said / written in Birmingham) round for lunch. So my parents now can't pick up my kids from school on a Friday when both myself and wife are at work but if my kids could walk to walk to the closest pub then they could sit with them? Nice and clear. and "Birmingham" is a bit vague, is it anyone with a B postcode? obviously it'll all be clarified shortly and make perfect sense.Â
You canât mix households mate thatâs the main thing whether that be in the house , pub or restaurant . Your only supposed to stay in your household group . So I can go to the pub with my missus but not my mates . Iâm in Sandwell .Â
Âits mental to think last week the government were paying for my tea 3 nights a week , telling me to send my children back to school cause itâs safe , telling all office staff to stop working from home and get back in the office to help local towns and the economy, encouraging social activity. I know thereâs social distancing in place but if your going out more with or without social distancing itâs going to spread more .
ÂNow there telling me I canât see anyone other then my wife and kid, but I can mix with people at work and mix with people when I drop my kid off . The whole thing is getting tiresome nowÂ

I love how people are deflecting from what Iâm saying because itâs the truth đthereâs no argument to it , pick on a spelling mistake or ask for a video ( would it even matter Iâm sure it would be twisted round to seeing something how you want to see it)Truth hurts Hypocrites!
Your marching round ( I bet none of you even go on these protests) acting like Britain is a racist country , when in fact your the problem with this country!!Â

pointless debating with people like that , your the problem in society, the ones that nit pick at every little thing that get offended by every little thing but only when it suits you and the way you see things . Â
Âracism is across the board , if your against racism it works towards every type of racism but some of you only see it one way and itâs the way you want to see it .Â
Your not worth the time or effort and like I said you create the racism when it suits you!

Basically, that if he'd said for people not to shop in black or Asian-owned shops he'd have been crucified, he's subjected to racism as a traveller, travellers are the only people that it's okay to be racist towards, colour doesn't exist to him as he's got the most diverse team in boxing, Joshua will lose a lot of fans for what he said, that kind of shite.
I like big Fury, he's a hell of a fighter and I'll still want him to win over Joshua to complete the amazing comeback from where he was a few years back, but by fuck is he not the sharpest tool in the shed.
You'd hope he'd have learned to just keep his mouth shut. He got into hot water years back for being a moron, and it seems he's not learned anything from that.
So you donât agree that if fury had of said that but the opposite way round there wouldnât have been a bigger fuss made ?Â
ÂWhat Joshua has said has been brushed under the carpet so you really think the same would have happened if Fury said the exact same words but the other way round ?Â

If you donât think youâre racist because you donât agree with racism, or because you have a friend or friends that are black, thatâs great. But just because thatâs what you do, doesnât mean everyone does.Â
Âif you think racism doesnât exist because youâre not a part of the problem, or itâs never effected you, doesnât stop racism, systematically or personally being a problem.
My godson is mixed race. My daughter from birth has had my friends, and there kids in her life. She had no idea skin colour was an issue. When she was 4, she bought a book about Rosa Parks from a kids range called Little People, Big Dreams (highly recommend the series to any parents here btw). My wife read it to her, and my daughter said to her, âdoes that mean I couldnât be friends with Tobias and Josiah then?â My wife said reading the book she felt sick, having to explain what used to happen and what segregation meant. My daughter, through those books and others understands more about racism then I ever got taught a school.Â
ÂRight now is a great opportunity for people to listen and learn. There is no magic plaster, there is no quick fix, but if we donât try and change our ways, it will always be an issue. I just hope that we can raise the next generation to be better then a lot of us would be. But that also means in school we do teach more about the history of slavery, issues of race and diversity so we can all do better. But just saying Iâm not racist so racism doesnât exist here, isnât enough.
On that point I read a column, and his point of view on the statues were they should be left alone as a symbol of how far society has come. I agree and disagree with him I see both sides of the argument.
on the teaching about slavery at school , Iâm not agreeing with you but Iâm not disagreeing with you . My question would be would that cause a divide in the class room ,would young black kids be picked on in classes about this . Would It educate young white kids it to thinking how it was then and that they can do that now  ? Would it do more harm then good ?Â
Âmy daughter has baby dolls and some of them are black dolls . The way I teach her is you call this doll by its name not by its skin colour . I would hate for her to say âdad I want my brown doll â instead she calls it Anna belle. I would hate for her to come home from school and say Iâm playing with the Indian girl dad , but she doesnât she calls that person by her name . In my opinion if all kids are brought up like that  then skin colour would never be an issueÂ
ÂI thought society had come that far that we identify people by their names not by their colour or religion?Â

Ignorance is massively damaging. To dismiss any notion that racism isn't a very real issue in this country is almost as problematic as racism itself. If you cannot see a reason to change, and many others share this stance, then what will change?
Â
There have been MANY instances of monkey chants mad at football games in this country over the past couple of years. Many. Rudiger, Fred, Sterling, Renee Hector. These are instances I can recall from the top of my head.Â
Â
So? Just because we've made massive strides it doesn't mean racism doesn't still exist. We have come a long way but it's not enough.
Â
How will these marches 'create' racism? It will bring racist views to the surface, which have been bubbling under- that's not the same as creating racism. I don't think somebody is all of a sudden going to think 'hang on a minute, I don't like black people any more because they are protesting'. No. Those people will have always had racist views, but they now have a platform to express this because the counter-protest marches (which are nothing more than racist marches, let's be honest) have enabled these views.
Of course it was happening before, and I suppose my last response above works here too. The George Floyd death has highlighted once again (and this is not an isolated incident) that the Western world is rife with racism, and a high-profile incident like this puts eyes on the problem. When eyes are on the problem, that's an opportunity to raise awareness that we still have SO much work to do.
Â
In your first post you stated 'By the way Iâm not a right wing supporter, right wing left wing itâs all A load of bollcoks', and here you open with 'you lefties'. I think that speaks volumes. Anyway, why is it a 'leftie' thing to want our society rid of racism? Answer me that. Is it ever going to be perfect? No, I don't suppose it ever will. But we are still so far from it, so to dismiss this by saying 'well, it's not as bad as it used to be, so let's just leave it there shall we?' is a very dangerous and damaging viewpoint to have.
Â
When did that happen?
Just to make a comment on being called a troll đ if throwing a different point of view  to your own is trolling then whatâs the point in having a debate ? Not aimed at you punk by the wayÂ
The point Iâm trying to make is equality is there it has been for years , people marching for equality when they have it . Nobody will ever convince me otherwiseÂ
Yeah racism ushers itâs ugly head from time to time but in our society itâs unacceptable. Before it was acceptable and people have done a lot along the way to make it unacceptable. You canât do more then making it unacceptable in society Iâm sorry your canât.Â
ÂYou mentioned the football games , yes I know the incidents your talking about but you canât compare that to abuse received in the 1970âs when that was the Norm and the large majority of the grounds did it . Your talking about incidents were itâs 1 in 50,000 .Â
ÂI honestly believe this is causing a big divide then the one you speak of . It can create bigger problems . If the Churchill statue comes down it will cause mass riots everywhere and for what ?Â
Âitâs a good point you make about me using the word lefties , I take that back shouldnât have said that .Â
a lot of this is media driven , the media are stirring the pot . Anything thatâs aimed towards a black person in the media is a race attack when it could be far from it. Donât believe everything you read . Some people automatically presume itâs racism when there may have been issues nothing to do with skin colourÂ
Âi was in fact behind the whole thing when it started. The murder of George Floyd was disgusting. I remember my football club tweeting a picture of âtogether were stronger â what a message that is by the way . Some fan tweeted back saying he wants a refund for his season ticket and Albion replied saying you wonât be missed . I thought that was amazing . Thereâs nothing prouder for me being a West Brom fan knowing how my club developed black culture in the 70âs , nothing prouder .Â
Âthen what turned me away from it was black people saying we want equality. You have equality itâs been achieved by your dads and grandparents. Thatâs my point of view and I donât think anyone can say otherwise.Â
Âthen you had the statues being attacked . You know what I thought when that statue came down in Bristol? I thought well why was there a statue of a slave trader anyway ? So I donât really have an issue with it , but itâs history itâs gone and weâre does it end , do you tear everything down that 200 plus years old cause anything that old would have links to some form of slavery . Is just black people being slaves that people have issues with? Do you tear Rome down cause they used to throw Slaves to the lions in the coliseum? Weâre do you stop with it ?Â

By your own admission, things can always improve. And while we've come a long way from how black people were overtly excluded from society, there's still a lot of underlying and less obvious racism going on in the world. Just because they're not being made to sit at the back of the bus or things like that, it doesn't mean that the racism that still exists isn't worth fighting against. The way you're talking makes it sound like we should just be happy with how far we've come already.
No Iâm not mate what Iâm saying is society today is maybe as good as your going to get as regards racism. Your not going to eradicate it completely thatâs my point. Itâs impossible, pricks will always be pricks .Â
Âbritish society is multi cultural, thereâs equal rights for everyone and racism is unacceptable in society, thatâs how it is , there was a day it wasnât thatâs how it is today , itâs hard to see how it gets any better then that. If you could eradicate racism completely then great Iâm on the protests but itâs not going to happenÂ
i was talking to one of my black friends about it. Which I despise calling him a black friend cause he isnât that to me but Iâve got to call him that on here to make the point .  His words were . My dad came here from Jamaica and went through hell to pave the way for people like him to have a good life here . He said he is married with 3 kids who all go to school owns his own house owns his own business , never had any forms or equality thrown against him he said what do I have to moan about itâs my dad that did the hard work .Â

It is equality, because all these people have jobs , they wasnât discriminated against in getting those jobs or buying these houses . They live and earn just like any white person does . They send their kids to the same school as I do , they go to the same restaurants and shops as I do .Â
Equality means being equal and itâs disrespectful to even suggest these people arenât equal , everybodyâs equal .Â

I'm not going to argue with you about your stance on racial equality in this country, the facts and figures are out there for any one to research.Â
Claiming all this will only increase racism is bollocks. Anyone that defends, sympathisers or agrees with the right wing or on the people opposing the marches on this are already racist and therefore won't become any more racist, well they might but fuck them anyway.
Excuse the pun but racism is very black and white, you are either a racist or you are not. There are no ifs and buts. Has the UK gotten better since the 70's? Yes it has, it is fair? Absolutely not.Â
So you donât think Ripping the Churchill statue down isnât going to cause a lot of problems ? When was the last time ridiculous scenes like weâve seen over the past few weeks Happen ? not to even mention weâre in the middle of a pandemic.
Thereâs a tipping point for anything just like brexit, whether you agree with it or not people voted to leave and the main reason was immigration , people start resenting things which is what happened with immigration in this countryÂ
is it fair ? Yeah it is , itâs as fair as it will ever be. Iâll go and take a walk round my estate shall I ? I live next door to an Indian couple who live next door to a black family , thereâs a polish family that live on the end of the road , thereâs Chinese people living On the estate . My daughter goes to school with people from all backgrounds, i work and my friends are people from all walks of live . Iâm sorry but thatS equality and fair , what is it that has to change ? Am I missing something ? To say society isnât fair is absolutely ludicrous, take a look in the history books thatâs un fairÂ
-
I would love someone to name me an industry  that refuses to employ a black person ?Â
Or a university that doesnât educate a Black person ? Or a school that doesnât educate a black kid ?Â
ÂIt doesnât happen in todayâs society hasnât for a long while. You lefties really need to look into your history and see how far this country has come probably more then any other country in the world on racism. Is it perfect ? no itâs never ever going to be perfectÂ

A load of actual fascists attacked innocent people yesterday and people are queuing up to tell us it's just like the minority who were looking for trouble in the BLM protests.
I actually think, amongst his racist nonsense, bono has a point. As a nation, we had made massive strides in educating people and making racism criminal and intolerable. However, this hasn't suddenly been eroded by two weeks of BLM protests, it's come off the back of the last five years of the leave campaign, our current government and national newspapers stirring up tension and hatred of immigrants, past and presents, and emboldening the closet racists and fascists. This didn't suddenly change in two weeks.
No it hasnât changed in two weeks I totally agree with you but the longer this thing goes on the more damage it will do to society, it will create racism and cause divide these people originally protesting have ever seen . Their marching for equality when the results will be the total opposite.Â
Âif society was that bad and Black people were getting abused left right and center , not getting jobs not getting into universityâs or schools. Â Not having equality why wasnât all this happening before George floyd death ?Â
Âi 100% agree with you itâs all media driven and people have fallen for it .Â
ÂI also agree that some cracks formed with all this leave nonsense, it brought out the uneducated pricks that for some reason think they have more of a right to live here then anyone else. But I honestly think that all got washed away and eventually everyone got on with it , was all that even linked to black British people anyway from were I was looking It was people taking aim at immigrationÂ
and for people saying o I heard someone being called black this or I heard someone being called Chinese this . So do you think these marches rioting pulling down statues will change these pricks saying this? Really ? Certain people will never change and shame on you for letting it happen . Iâve seen racists take beatings were I live for the same things . You know why ? Cause it isnât accepted in society and If youâve sat there and watched it happen then your part of the problem as wellÂ

Âit was only in the 1970âs were black people had to sit on a certain side of the bus or have playgrounds were split in half to separate white and black kids . I live in West Brom , I work with numerous nationalities, my daughter goes to school with numerous nationalities . do they think racism will totally be eradicated? Twats will always be twats it will always be there fortunately we live in a country weâre itâs unacceptable and at a minimum, go to Russia and Eastern Europe thatâs racismÂ
