  1. Rey really needs to revert his look. He was cool as hell looking from 2002 to about err ... 2009/2010? The whole half mask and shiny bin bag gear thing isn't doing his huge loss of mass any favors. He's coming off like starved luchador Max California.

I still got a little excited when his music hit. Are we likely to see him and Bray added to the Punk/Bryan/Harper/Rowan match, do you think?

  2. The American Wolves, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards reported today to the WWE Performance Center. We are told that they will be in Orlando, Florida for a week-long tryout.

As previously reported in the Elite section of PWInsider.com, there have been some in WWE who have pushed for the pair to be signed despite some resistance from those who feel the company is currently stocked with good workers from the independent scene.

One WWE source believed the one week tryout could be stage one of the pair receiving a short-term trial deal that would send them to developmental for a few months.

Davey Richards in WWE is either the best or the worst news. There's nothing wrong with him as an athlete but he can't pace a match or use his offence in a way that makes any sense to save his life. Regal, Dusty and Billy will either turn him into something impressive or he'll be a massive cunt and he'll endeavoured with the shock to no one like Hero.

  3. Was the Bryan/Punk vs Wyatts feud a last-minute decision? If it was planned, then it seems stupid to have had Harper and Rowan lose to the Rhodes brothers and Usos in the weeks before this rivalry started. It was only on Smackdown and nobody remembers those matches, but still. It seems like WWE lost interest in the Wyatts, then Hell in a Cell finished and someone got flustered that there was nothing for Punk or Bryan going forward.

I don't think so, as much as I like them they are there to take the heat for Bray so they can build the fued without Bray having to get his hands dirty til PPV. Harper and Rowan will spend the majority of the feud getting their arses handed to them until Bray fights one or both of Punk and Bryan.

  4. so I just got an e-mail about this

If anyone wants to go and abuse Bagga on my behalf, be my guest

I would, but that would involve giving Bagga my money and that would only encourage him to carry on.

  5. * A "positive test for alcohol" will result in a $2,500 fine per positive test, taken from the talent's downside guarantee.

Seriously? Vince will be able to buy another couple of private jets if they follow this one through.

It's not unreasonable to expect one of your employees to turn up to work without having consumed alcohol

  6. I was sat next to superman he was cool as ..

Was sooo funny doin the superman pose and we were all chanting but he we did it numerous times and it looked like the wwe edited it on are abit so u didn't see him much.

Raw was amazing, the guys behind me were at the raw after mania .. It had the same feel to it on Monday

You mean you were surrounded by arseholes who think they know more about wrestling than everyone else the Raw after 'mania too?

    That's some wicked bad luck.

  7. There's such a large portion of knobs at WWE shows over here everytime I go I want to crawl into a hole and die. I'm fine with kids, their Dads and the spackers but it's the "smart" fans I hate. It's been like that for years now.

I'm planning on going to Summerslam next year, I'm hoping US audiences are better.

    This.

Its a cunt considering how much tickets for TV tapings cost.

  8. You hear stories of wrestlers being dicks to fans, and in a way its hard to blame them. They must get met the biggest dickheads thinking they have the right to say anything they want to you. There are some frighteningly weird fans around. When we went to see Foley's stand up last year, there was some fucking headcases in front of us waiting to meet him. They kept shouting and talking to people as if we needed to hear their opinion on the current situation in regards to waiting in a line. "He better do this, he better do that", just crap like that. I saw a couple I knew from college walking past us, and we said hello and silly bollocks in front of us started yelling shit about "pushing in front" or something.

Worst thing I saw was a bunch of cunts in Cactus Jack shirts booing a 7 year old lad who came in the ring when it was his Birthday at an All Star show. Why would you do that, you know? They were chanting shit all night, but booing a young lad as he got in the ring was dreadful. Daniel Bryan got them back later in the night by refusing to sign any of their shit.

Were these the cunts calling him Danielson in spite of him being American Dragon, mask and all?

  9. Just watched Rowan & Harper vs Prime Time Players from Main Event last week. I think Rowan is alright. He's not completely useless. He wrestlers like a guy who looks like him should and he does a great bear hug. I think he'll be pretty good in a few months.

Nail. Head. The thing I love most about Rowan and Harper is that they certainly do wrestle like guys their size should. No fancy shit, clubbing blows and strikes and all maul based grappling. They seem to do the basic stuff very well and keep everything character relevant, perfect heat fodder for Bray.

  10. I remember the RAW TV taping last year being sat by the obnoxious cunt on the planet letting out a mono-tone continuous boo during the Brad Maddox speech. No one else in the entire arena was letting off a similar reaction but he claimed to be joining in with the show. Truthfully, he was a trainee from a school thinking he knew everything about wrestling and was trying to 'get himself over' with the surrounding fans. He even shook hands and introduced himself to everyone around before the show like he was in a locker room. This may be mistaken for just being a nice guy, it wasn't, he was an arse.

  11. The biggest problem for me post Max has been the fact that Derrick is actually a bit rubbish. Sepultura didn't just lose their most popular and well known member, they lost a principle song writer, front man and rhythm guitarist and he was bloody good at those things too.

  12. I had that free 5FDP 'best of' cd with Metal Hammer last month, i spun it in the car a few times and it's probably the only time ive really listened to them...it aint bad, there are elements of the music i like and i can see why they have a fan base, but any time Ivan Moody decides to sing i just wanna reach for the skip button.

I just can't stand them, total paint by numbers metal band. They are almost as bad on the paint by numbers scale as Devil Driver.

With both, its truly like someone wrote down a description of a Metal band and sent them out into the world. Worse, the idiot guitarist (I want to say he was the guy from Motorgrater) still dresses like he's attending a 2001 Coal Chamber show in California.

  13. 2012 had a pretty strong lineup, but 2010 has been the best for me so far. Had a great time this year too though

I also had a great time this year as a good portion of my favourite bands were all on the bill, also the fact that everyone seemed to be on form was a huge factor in how much I enjoyed it.

  14. What do we reckon to Pearl Jam as one of the potential headliners?

New album has done well and they were 'leaked' as a headliner for 13 which turned out to be an error. But I wouldn't think they were beyond the realms of possibility

They are as good a shout as any for bands who have never played there, though they may be a little more 'Readingy' than Download suitable,

  15. Alter Bridge felt like a headline act when i seen them a couple of weeks ago. A7X just no. I'm sorry but even BFMV would be ahead of them in my queue for bleeding through new headliners or perhaps even Stone Sour.

What are the individual record sales figures saying? I'm genuinely asking. Record sales are the only true way to measure the size of a band.

  16. Fair play to the Big Show though, he steps up most of the time. This time round he's been fantastic apart from all the crying. That bit where he knocked HHH out was ace.

Nail. Head. The thing with Big Show is that he a reliable hand. He, along with Kane, is a great worker who can step in a couple of times a year and just keep things rolling on TV without the company having to be entirely based around them. When he, or Kane, steps through the curtain people know shit is about to go down purely by their size alone, never mind that they both know how to use it brilliantly.
