  1. The new tag team titles are absolutely gorgeous, but, and I hate myself for saying this, I actually think the logo should be a different colour, it would just make them pop more.

I'm in Dublin for the weekend. The Guinness tastes exactly the same as it does at home, but I've finally had Beamish and it's got more flavour IMO. Wish we could get it over in the UK.

    The correct order is

    Good Guinness

    Good Beamish

    Average Beamish

    Average Guinness

Too many places are throwing out average Guinness for fear the yanks might not be able to comprehend taste.

If you can find a pub where the Beamish is flowing you're set. (The Lord Edward opposite Christ church cathedral)

Except for getting stuck in a chimney. You'd think he'd plan for that rather than just expecting random strangers to help him.

It was to prove he was real and restore their faith in Christmas....... Watertight.

Guys, I think we need to have a chat.. we might need to talk about Santa too..

Santa has a contingency plan for everything from no chimney to a child walking in on him to an elaborate mind melt where nobody believes a child's trauma after he's caught kissing the child's mother....... Wrestling wishes they could write a tweener like that.

The Hangman Page ruse...the segment was good, but it didn't really make sense. What was he going to do if Swerve didn't turn up, or hung around on the ramp like Joe?

I was thinking the same thing, if swerve didn't come out, get in the ring, and turn his back when Joe came out, was hangman just not gonna wrestle on Sunday?

Is he? Very disappointing if so.

Yeah, Started dating Markéta Irglová the minute she turned 18 and he was 36, Did an interview talking about how he'd been in love with her for years. There's always been murmurs on the Dublin music scene but she's the only one confirmed.

It’s not a traditional musical, but I love Once. Great soundtrack and performances from the two leads. I might be in the wrong thread, cause I really like musicals. Big fan of Little Shop Of Horrors, West Side Story (original) The Greatest Showman (shut up), Moulin Rouge, Gene Wilder Wonka, Blues Brothers, Singin’ In The Rain, aforementioned Muppet Christmas Carol and Dreamgirls.

I’d start a “musicals are awesome, you’re all wrong” thread, but I fear it would be just me and two others.

Yeah, But Hansard is a bit noncey and falling slowly is a shite song.

I discovered last week that there is a jukebox musical called '& Juliet' which has a play-within-a-play of a follow-up to the ending of Romeo & Juliet. The music is 'songs by Max Martin' so they range from Since U Bn Gone by Kelly Clarkson to Perfect by Pink, as well as SIX Backstreet Boys songs.

The whole concept sounds so irredeemably terrible I genuinely wonder if it's popular because it's bad.

It's popular with tourists who can't commit to an actual plot and groups of 14 year old girls on a school trip.

I watch a lot of videos of a bloke who delivers food on one of his various bikes for Uber eats, just eat, Deliveroo etc. All round London but sometimes he goes to other cities in England. Particular enjoy the night shift videos. It’s dull but I’m hooked.

I watch a lot of DCrider, the same thing but in America, watching him casually dodge through traffic cycling with no hands (he has them, he just doesn't use them) is surprisingly calming.

  10. Episode 7 spoiler

    Spoiler

Watching Kelsey grammar slip back into Frasier has been like a cup of soup for my soul, but it took six episodes. Bebe Neuwirth slipped back into Lilith like she played her yesterday, everything about her was Lilith. Now get cliff and norm back once.....

    "Who's Alan"......

  11. Anyway, Becky lining up 3-4 championship contenders into the future at all times meant that I genuinely reacted when Lyra pinned her, because I assumed there was still a xia li and roxanne match to go. So credit there.

I'm thinking they go heel Jacy to overcoming her fears Thea from here.

    Chase U ~~~~~~

Some solid stuff otherwise, they're leaning into mello attacking trick so heavily it has to be a swerve at this point.

There’s an attempt on Sunday, for a subtle tribute to Bray to be paid just after sunset, at 8.30.

From what I gather, its being arranged to hold up your phone lights, and sing “He’s got the whole world”.

Not sure whether AEW will do any kind of tribute of their own, to minimise any kind of distribution of their biggest show, but I think the idea mentioned, is subtle and doesn’t take over the show too much.

Fucking hell, wrestling fans can't even fantasy book a tribute decently.

    That's just a bad idea.

  13. The greatest to ever do it, everything you love about this thing we call pro wrestling can be directly linked to his influence, all of it. The fucking definition of pro wrestling. If there's a heaven Terry Funk is calling god a son of a whore before he piledrives him through a table.
