ICW just feels confused to me. - lot of ideas are like ones that would surfice during the Attitude era and the swearing etc feels just forced. Whilst on the other hand they are also trying to put on matches with 'workrate' to appease other fans. I just don't get what they are supposed to be. 

Likewise, they employ some very untalented wrestlers in positions well above their station who are kept on out of sympathy Im guessing.

I actually think he has been rotten most of the times i have saw him perform post-WWE, which is likely a result of him not having any guidance and everyone thinking he is the big man on campus.

His match with Hero in Evolve was horrid

Started recently and find it very stimulating and also learning a lot as I go along about mobility and stretching for sport.

Possibly the ICW venue,  Barrowlands in Glasgow which would be much cheaper than the Hydro and still a decent crowd in there, up to 1900 I think. Hydro was very hollow and empty looking because it was so big.

Only other place I could think of in Glasgow would be in London somewhere? one of the Progress or Rev Pro venues?

Is it absolutely necessary for someone to have muscle definition for them to wear trunks?

I thought it was a bit refreshing seeing him come out to different music and act a little different.

Amazingly though, when asked, he said he wasn't a fan.

They sell t shirts like hotcakes. Dvds are obsolete due to on demand. Can't see any other sort of merch which would be worthwhile

 

Aye, that was the game series i was talking about when i mentioned Wrestlin Mpire. An absurd series of games; fun for what they are but not the second coming of a WWE 2K-beater that it's die hard fans claim it to be. That actually stems quite nicely to my thoughts on the latest ICW developments (spoilered for spoilers)...

 

They are now running a storyline where Red Lightening has become the majority stakeholder of ICW due to some convoluted storyline involving Mark Dallas taking out a loan to run the Hydro next year blah blah etc. ICW is meant to be the 'alternative' to WWE yet here they are with silly dueling authority figures. Fuck sake, i can't imagine how tiresome that set-up was to stand through.

 

 

ICW have always done the heel stable thing though, at least this gives red lightning a reason to be on shows other than "he's a good heel"

As for the show on Sunday, absolutely perfect. Womens match was phenomenal, the raw emotion in that building during the main event was something unparalelled in modern wrestling.

The football attendances take into account season ticket holders who don't attend. As it's technically a paid-for seat

To answer your question form my own experiences. The standing capacity is devised with fire safety etc in mind. It';s likely that there will be clear paths in an out of the arena which will be manned by security.

To be honest I think people are overestimating the size of the venue first of all, and the ring is almost guaranteed to be on a platform.

To be honest that sums up the mentality of some of the people who attend these shows. "Once you're in guys, you're not getting out"...How stupid would that be? See when you were at The Barras, how did you get to the bar then? Same idea.

And your answer is to not support the company and to not go to the show.

Could this be more a case of, TNA have requested that they use it, Madonna's mob have quoted a high price for them to use it, and they have just refused to pay it? Told Grado he can't use it, then he has taken matters into his own hands.

Every song has a price, maybe theirs was too high given how iconic a song it is. TNA don't see the justification for using it. If they dont plan on using Grado regularly then they would pay an absolute bomb to use the song once and basically lose money on the whole Grado saga.
