  1. Is there any streams for that episode around? I thought they'd be on the usual places like Youtube and Dailymotion but they aint there. Torrent websites don't seem to work on my computer.

  2. ROH on HDnet Ep1.

Well I really enjoyed the show overall I agree with people not liking the new commentator but Prazak wasn't upto much either. The way the show looked was great with the little promo's before the matches etc, the new entrance themes sucked balls though.

I must say Kenny King was the standout wrestler on the show this kids got potential, all of the matches were good enough I thought even though I just cant get into watching Albright for some reason. The main event was a bit tepid for 2 guys who supposedly hate each other I expected a wild brawl type of match but from watching it you wouldnt of known they were in a feud if it werent for the interviews.

Anyway I still thought it was a solid start and I'll be downloading all the shows no doubt.

  3. Yeah thats what I thought when you see the DDT it doesnt seem that bad so I thought it must of been a hidden work like what they did with the Sandman's blindness injury. Just been watching an episode of History Of ECW on WWE 24/7 from The Doctor Is In 96 with Pitbull1 with the neckbrace on etc and it reminded me of the whole angle.

  4. This may be a stupid question but its just something whats popped into my head again lately and Ive always wondered about it.

Back in ECW in 1996 during the Shane Douglad - Pitbulls feud did Pitbull Number 1 Gary Wolfe really suffer a neck injury? I remember reading about the angle in Powerslam and have just recently rewatched it again but Ive never known if it was a total work or just and exageratted injury.

  5. I'm not sure to be honest I just hate endings where you dont find out what happened like whether they lived or died etc its just a pet hate of mine ha

I was the same when I watched the Wrestler as well the ending annoyed me, but I was pleasently suprised with Cloverfield though I expected it to be abysmal from some of the reviews I read.

I heard they were going to do a sequel but film the same movie again just from a different groups perspective, dunno if those rumours are true was a while back when I read that

  6. WALLED IN - 5/10, This looked like it was gonna be a good horror/thriller type film going from the trailer I watched but it never came close to being any good. The story was pretty shit and didnt really make any sense what so ever would only reccommend watching this on a boring day when youre stuck with nothing to watch.

CLOVERFIELD - 7.5/10, I'd been meaning to watch this since it 1st came out but all the copies I came across were shite quality then I totally forgot about it till it turned up on Sky Movies this week. I thought it was pretty good better than some of the reviews I'd read for it even tho the handheld camera way the made it done my tits in at times, the ending was pretty shite tho.

SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER - 7.5/10, I'd heard of this film years ago and had always fancied watching it cos its got Mike Myers in it out of Austin Powers etc and hes normally funny as fuck. This film was miles different than any of his other films tho with more dark humour in it rather than his usual jokes but I thought it was a quality film which I've never heard any1 talk about.

THE UNBORN - 7/10, Was a decent enough film it kept me occupied on a boring Saturday night but I felt it could of been much better. The story just seemed to jump all over the place and nothing was explained in enough detail for me if it ran about 30minutes longer it could of been much better as a 85 minute run time werent long enough.

Anyway I still thought it was decent enough and worth a watch even though it didnt blow me away which I never expected to be honest.

TAKEN - 9/10, Watched this last night and it lived up to the hype Ive read about on here and other sites was class from start to finish. Didnt expect Liam Neeson to be any good as that type of character but he put the like of Segal in his hey day to shame. Deffo a must watch this like.

GRAN TORINO - 10/10, Fantastic film a reckon one of the best I've seen in ages every thing is spot on the story acting etc I loved it

  7. Anyone know any good sites with a load of shoot interview in mp3 format? Looking for some stuff to go on my iPod

I'd usually just use PWTorrents but I'm stuck with a work laptop and can't install a valid torrent client.

    www.xtremewrestlingtorrents.net

Ive come across 3 torrents with alot of audio shoot interviews included on there, Ive never bothered downloading them though I prefer to have the video as well

  8. Trying to work out if I have enough money in my wallet to get a bag of crisps and get Powerslam at lunchtime. How much is Powerslam??

(I really should know I have brought every damn issue)

    Thanks

Its 3 pound if my memory serves me right, forgot it was out today I'll have to pick it up when I'm down the town at 4

  9. What happened with the Wrestling Channel on sky? it was awesome when it 1st started and had TNA,ROH,CZW, Classic Japan matches etc

The quality of the programming went downhill and started showing shitty mma promotions so I stopped tuning in then all of a sudden it dissapeared from my sky box

  10. Does anyone know if the fire incident involving Cactus Jack and Terry Funk in ECW back in 1995 made it to video? always wanted to see it since I read about it many moons ago

Or even a link to watch it online which would be better

  11. Hey there just wondering if anyone can remember a wrestling show what took place in London ( I think ) back in 1996 called St Valentines Day Massacre??? it had Sabu, RVD, Mikey Whipwreck on it in a tournament or something. Just been reading an old issue of Powerslam from 1996 and it was advertised on the back page, did this get released on video? and is it kicking about any where.

  12. Just got another quick question

Is anybody on here a member of the DVDR website and do you know if registrations are closed? I tried signing up to the forums before a found this site and I got a email saying a moderator will have to check before I can post on my account.

Been quite a while since I signed up now and still no sign of being able to post etc, just desperate to get on as I've heard about some of the DVD sets you can buy from on there.

  13. Sorry for the double post just another quick question, I remember years back round about 1997 I used to buy ECW and Japan videos from these guys who advertised in Powerslam and they used to send out all there latest releases with star ratings on them etc.

Cant remember the name of the guy but I'm sure he was on about opening a shop the last time I bought anything from them back in late 99, did any1 else deal with these and is he still about? think it was called global wrestling videos if my memory serves me right.

  14. Just wondering if anyone could answer this question whats been bugging me the past couple of days, there was a japanese wrestler in WCW back in 1995/96 time managed by Sonny Ono. His name has totally gone blank from my mind for some reason the name Kawasaki or something springs to mind, I remember him being in a angle with Road Warrior Hawk where he injured his arm.

Only thought of it again when I've been watching ROH lately as Go Shiozaki looks like him, any1 have a clue as to what I'm talking about
