I didn't think much of Pac's debut, he's obviously been told to tone it down, like is to be suspected.
-
I think going on the cinema's official website is the best bet for specific cinemas and what there showing.
Â
I think it's 18th of this month.

Got to say, I thought Django Unchained was brilliant. I like the original Django so wasn't sure if I'd like Unchained and I'm not really into Tarantino, but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the Dr Schultz character and I liked the Franco Nero cameo.
-
I'm interested in Django Unchained but not sure if I'd like it as I actually like the original Django and Spaghetti Westerns in general and I know Unchained isn't going to be like that.

Watched Looper last night and was much better then I originally expected, was surprised to see Jeff Daniels in it, didn't know he was in it.
-
It's called Weekly Wipe, so presumably it'll be a round up of the last week in THE NEWS~!
Â
He said a while aback it's going to be like a Omni-Wipe
Weekly Wipe on the way for 2013: (basically News / Screen / Games / Film / Omni Wipe).Â
And yeah, he was great as usual, looking forward to the new Black Mirror as well.
-
Charlie Brooker's 2012 Wipe is on tonight for any of your Brooker fan's that didn't know. Be good to see Brooker back.

Just watched American Movie.
Â
Think it may just pip King of Kong. Very funny and touching with a eerie setting and great bunch of oddballs.
Â
Yeah, it's a great doc, I went and watched Covan afterwards, not sure if North Western was ever released/leaked. He's apparently been working on another film for a while too called Scare Me.
-
Just watched the last episode, Didn't know it was on day after the 5th episode, until reading it here. I liked this series, I think the weakest episode was Episode 4.
-
Yeah, it's stupid that you have to hold power down to reset the output settings, I'd have thought it could be detected automatically these days.
-
An honorable mention to Hotline Miami, it could have been the game of the year if it was longer and had a few control niggles smoothed over, it's a gorgeous looking/sounding hazy mix of Vice City, Demons Souls difficulty and the film Drive with violence galore but also needs a lot of tactical thinking as you will die a hell of a lot.
Â
Did the Windows taskbar stay over the top when you played the game? I've just bought it and I'm loving it so far, but I wish it would load over the top of the windows task bar.

Has anybody who downloads at US pace given Go On a look? I took a punt because it started before the other shows and I was desperate for some good new telly. And, well, Matthew Perry's just a treat isn't he?
Â
Anyway, loved it for the most part. Not always piss pants funny, but a nice set of characters with lots of room to build on if the show gains a strong following. Perry's lead character is particularly strong. I haven't checked but I hope it gets renewed for a second season, it's been my favourite weekly watch this year.
Â
I'll have to check that out, there's not many US sitcoms I really like, but I enjoyed Matthew Perry, especially in The Sunset Strip which I know isn't a comedy/sitcom but still.

And Dead Island doesn't have a shit time limit that makes the game more frustrating then fun unlike Dead Rising.
Â
Get Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. It's Dead Rising 2, but you play as Frank West from the first one and there's a ton of added missions, an added theme park area, plus extra weapons, survivors, psychopaths, etc. It has a Sandbox Mode in which you can just play it without the time limit, doing what you want. That, along with online co-op play make it arguably the best Dead Rising game.
Â
Also, on the topic of Dead Island, the game is shit. It starts as something fun, but it's packed with glitches and bugs, and gets boring less than halfway in. All sizzle and no steak, would be a good description. I worked in a games shop at the time and Dead Island was selling out inexplicably everywhere, to the point where GAME and other shops were selling it for close to

I'm playing through San Andreas again, Christ it hasn't aged at all. You forget about the inferior (compared to today's standards) graphics pretty much instantly. Well, I did. Although it does make you think how good GTAV will be if it's anything like this plus insane graphics.
Â
Everyone needs to replay this game to appreciate how bloody good a game can be.
Â
Yeah, I still enjoy playing it now (Got it again on PC through Steam sale) prefer San Andreas over GTA 4 tbh. Actually want to go on it now, lol.

Gametrailers are doing a pretty good Retrospective on the GTA series - http://www.gametrailers.com/full-episodes/...pective--part-i

Not sure if its been discussed, but I'm not filtering through 95 pages of this thread to find out.
Â
Recently downloaded all three seasons of Louie, the TV show of stand up Louis CK. Only watched the first two episodes and so far so good, its quite dark and I'm glad as I expected some kind of sitcom interspersed with stand up...I'm not sure why but I imagined it to be like Sienfield, just a lot darker but in the same format. Glad its not.
Â
Anyone else watched it all?
Â
Yeah, I've watched them since they've started. It is pretty much is Seinfeld, just darker and stranger really. It also reminds me of Curb your Enthusiasm. There's a great three part episode in Season 3.
-
Don't watch Brick, Frankie. It's a load of pretentious wank.
Â
I thought it was pretty good, been a while since I've seen it now, but going into it I thought I wouldn't like it (as I usually hate fillms/tv shows about teens) but I got into it once I started watching it.

I love this short, Street of Crocodiles - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XXm4oXx7vM
Â
This ones a bit different, Mockumentary.
-
The Cafe was good too.
Â
Yeah, I liked Cafe but it's more of a Drama-Comedy, which most of Craig Cash's work outside Royle Family seem to be, ie. Sunshine, Early Doors.
-
Anyone been watching Moone Boy on Sky? I liked Steve Coogan's character in it on the second episode.
-
I bet you all want to watch this British film.

Only know about it due to a friend of a friend who works at a factory with one of the lead actors/writer whom believes he's the next Stallone or something.

I like both Sports Night and Studio 60, Sports Night does show it's age where a Studio 60 looks similar to The Newsroom. Enjoyed both of them, though. Both shows have some great cast.
Â
Not got through all of West Wing yet, but it's just as good as his other stuff.
