I love Louie, great show and has some really funny moments. I find it like as a mix of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm (two of my other favorite US comedies). There is some great episodes, and it has some great guest stars, I enjoyed the episode with Doug Stanhope and David Lynch is great in the finale of Series 3. Looking forward to the new series.

I'll be devastated but there's no logic behind having his doctor wheeze on past such an obvious and fitting climax. Plus, we all know Moffatt loves a surprise and there's been an unusual lack of pictures from the Christmas special. There's usually loads of onset pictures published.

No the app isn't out on android yet, My code for the blimp doesn't work for some reason either.

Enjoying it so far, as a similar vibe to GTA 4 but some of the wackyness is back from the earlier ones, I loved the Weed side-mission (won't spoil it for anyone who asn't done it yet).

Ben Daniels is in that House of Cards remake series on Netflix with Kevin Spacey. He's a lot older then Smith or Tennant which cold be interesting, as I did enjoy Ecclestone's Dr. Also, I'm not sold on a female Doctor.

I cant wait to see John Hurts role in it. Is he in a series or chirstmas special or the 50th Anni special? I'm a bit out of the loop whats coming up tbh.

Thought this would be a good place to ask this question as I can't find the PS3 thread.

 

Do any other or have any other PS3 users have problems with downloading? I have 75mb broadband, everything downloads perfectly well and fast on my PC, but it's insanely slow on my PS3. To give you a current example, I'm downloading a game which is 6400mb. That should take about 20 minutes tops with my speeds, but it's done 1200mb in 3 hours.

 

I've Googled the problem and it seems to be quite common, but with no solution other than using my PC as a proxy server, which is quite confusing to say the least. Does anyone have a simple and effective solution? I'd be able to contribute to this thread more if I could play the game I'm downloading.

Are you using PS3 wirelessly? Mine is like that on wifi, so now I connect it via ethernet and I get much better speeds.

Bullshit. It's just like any other ITV drama, shite. I mean it. I tried with ITV. But it just SUCKS.

Nah, Broadchurch is best thing ITV have done in ages. I'd rate it up that with the BBC crime dramas I like from the past few years. More interestingly shot then any other ITV drama I've seen on passing, a good cast and hopefully a good ending, haha.

If anyone likes Crime Dramas Broadchurch is pretty good, the 5th episode was on tonight, not sure if you can watch all them if you missed it. Typically, I don't really rate ITV's attempts at Crime/Mystery Drama but this has been really good so far and has a quite recognizable cast.

There's loads of great material not used in the animated series in the podcasts and the XFM shows there did before the podcasts. I much prefer Karl in this form rather then the heavily edited form of A Idiot Abroad. I'd recommend listening to the XFM and Podcasts (all the XFM shows are on YouTube).

It was alright. Well done, good effects, looked polished for a British film. I found the characters distinctly unlikeable, wasn't sure whether I was meant to root for any of them, and if I wasn't then I'm hardly likely to care whether they live or die. The progression of the main guy from mugger/rapist to saviour of mankind I didn't buy at all.

Yeah, that's what pissed me off about the film, you actually want to see all those characters to die because they are such cunts and then they don't learn a lesson in the end but become a hero for being a cunt. I thought Nick Frost's character was good and the other guy though but the main characters were just so unlikable.

Watched the last part of The Gambler on more4 last night, thought it was a entertaining documentary mini series. Never saw it first time round in 2000 but it was one of those documentaries that are light hearted and not taking itself too seriously so it was quite funny.

I don't mind Derek at all, it is light on the comedy and heavy on the drama and I don't think I could rewatch it like The Office or Extras but it still has it's moments. I thought the Boys on Film, the Duran Duran story bit in last weeks episode was great.

Watched the 1st episode of Broadchurch the other day, got quite a recognizable cast of British actors. If you like crime drama, then you may like it, not sure if it's going to be anything new or unique but it is nicely shot tho.

Just got The Witcher 2 on steam, combat seems good, much better then in Skyrim but so far seems much more linear.

I enjoyed the first episode of Black Mirror, much better then the first episode of the last series for me.

Went to watch I Give it a Year yesterday, the Cinema was pretty empty, not even quarter full. Stephen Merchant was great in it and was my favorite character even though he wasn't in it all the way through, Rafe Spall was also as good as he usually is too. It turned out to be funnier then I expected and I enjoyed it.

I thought last nights episode of Derek was betting the last weeks. Its one of the weirdest things Gervais has made, but there were lots of bits I laughed at last night, like "80 is still 80, you're fucked" and the boss-eyed cat. It has much more drama in it then anything he's done before, imo and really strange montage segments, (well they feel strange to me when watching them).

I always thought Sterling James Keenan looked like a cross between Jeff Hardy and CM Punk. If he still looks similar now as Cory Graves, the arenas will be filled with teenage girl screams whenever he shows up.

I was going to say the same, he could probably play a Jeff or Punk role quite well, but dunno if he'd just look like a 2nd rate Punk with both being their at the same time.
