It's Time was shown on a delay on Boxing Day '96, but the first one to be broadcast live was Revenge Of The Taker.

Does anyone know why Mr Pefect was presented with the Tag Team Belt when he beat Tito Santana for his first Intercontinental Title in April 1990?

I believe it was because The Ultimate Warrior still had the IC title and wasnt at the show featuring the tournament to crown a new champion, they just gave him the tag belt because Demolition were there that day. Warrior had to vacate the belt after winning the World title against Hulk Hogan, so his busy road schedule might have prevented him from being there that night or something.

Did the WWF have any plans for Mr Perferct to turn on Ric Flair prior to The Ultimate Warrior leaving the WWF the 2nd time around?

He threatened to walk out on WWF many times. But Vince always won in the end (Michaels had a contract with WWF, so tough). He never appeared on Nitro, I'm 100% sure of that.

I agree I have been re-watching Nitro (Currently up to June 1998) and Shawn has not appeared.

in this months issue, his rant about the statement on WWE Corporate website about the company asking fans not to submit storylines etc etc... i noticed how he buried WWE with that then put himself over by saying readers could submit their ideas to him.

 

I thought that was a wierd comment myself

 

Surely the reason WWE dosen't ask fans to submit storylines is a bunch of nutters/timewasters will start claiming that all the companys ideas were based on things they submitted if whether it's true or not.

Personally I think it would be intresting if fans could submit their own storylines etc. But, lets be honest if the WWE started using fan's storylines how could they justfy paying a load of script writers?

Powerslam is negative. However, majority of the rants and opinions in the Magazine are no different to many memebers of this exact board.

Majority of people will agree that wrestling is currently in a major rut.

I'm still baffled why every single mention of Dixie Carter in 'Power Slam' is done as "Dixie Carter-Salinas".

 

Sometimes in the same issue they will mention her alongside other wrestlers kayfabe names, and then again in the same sentence as other wrestlers real names.

I think they do it not to get her confused with the other 'Dixie Carter'. But I do not know why I am certain 99.9% of the people buying the magazine know who they are talking about.
