  1. Anyone know where I can buy a WWF/WWE Belt wall hanger?

I think Highspots.com still sell them. If you check out the "Replica belts section" and it should be in there. The also sell various bits like WWE belt bags etc.

    thanks

  2. Vintage collection was horrendous this week! Perhaps because Kamala, Taylor, Matador and Backlund are amongst my least favourite acts ever. Just so tedious. Thanks the lord for Marty Jannetty.

You don't like Tito or just Tito as El Matador?

    I don't think I've seen a Tito match I've not enjoyed.

Must be honest I have never really like Tito either. He was a good wrestling, just never really liked him.

    Dunno why!

  3. Super, I would recommend trying www.galaxiawrestling.net - that's where I watch every episode of RAW, Smackdown and Impact as well as all PPVs.

Have you ever used the download option on that site?

    No, I'll admit I haven't Mojo.

No probs, it appeared that they had quite a few files that was worth a watch.

  4. Vader was meant to be on The Hulkamaniacs at War Games, if you can imagine that.

    Yeah, he was.

He had just saved Hogan from a "Dungeon of Doom" beatdown *in* the Dungeon of Doom.

Hogan and Vader then became War Games teammates (with Sting and Randy Savage) to go up and grapple with the Dungeon of Doom. Vader then had his big scrap with Paul Orndorff and got himself fired. He was then replaced with Lex Luger.

WCW used the term AWOL to explain why he had been removed from the Match, I use to think that was great mainly because when a WWF wrestler left they never acknowledged his name on TV again.

  5. Could anybody please inform me after which WCW PPV does WCW Nitro debut?

And does anybody know around what time a PPV Torrent comes out on the Monday?

It was Bash at the Beach.

I remember them plugging Fall Brawl in the 2nd or 3rd Episode just after Vader had left.

  6. Was Jesse Ventura responsible for creating/helping wrestlers with interviews during his time with WCW circa 1992?

I have seen a few interviews (best evidence being Rick Rude Interview at Starrcade 1992) where he has been miming what the wrestler is saying.

I always figured he was reading from the same cue cards. Heyman (I think) did a terribly obvious one around that period, where Rude attacked Sting and was taken to the hospital, simultaniously mouthing along with Jim Ross' announcement that Sting had to come back from the hospital or be stripped of the US title (or whatever the angle was) while also looking shocked at the announcement itself.

Thanks for that I never thought of cue cards to be honest. That interview made it so blatantly obvious I can see me looking out that during every WCW interview from that period.

  8. I believe Flair's 2nd WWF Title win is only on the WWF "1992: Year in Review" VHS. That's a cracking tape, if I recall correctly.

I believe Savage had a legit knee injury at the time. That might have been why they wanted to take the belt off him. It wasn't exactly clean. If I remember right, Razor Ramon interfered through-out.

Didnt Ric have a injury as well that kept him out of Summerslam?
