Real tough call between Austin/Angle/McMahon and The Rock Concert. I'm guessing it's the first Rock concert right? Shit, this is a toughie.

My favourite match of the decade (No Mercy WWE Tag Title Match) didn't even make the cut. What a shitter. Some good second choices though.

Yep, yet another example of a largely shit game (doubles mainly) that was incredibly dramatic which keeps you watching....and watching. You get this pain in your eyes watching BDO but it's exciting stuff.

I'm hoping O'Shea or Adams wins. Has Adams put weight on or am I seeing things? I still remember the Adams vs. Nixon final. Adams looked shocked beyond belief and Sharon looked like she wanted to strangle him. During the last set, she had to stay in the ladies toilets and Juliet Ferrington had to tell her the result. I miss Ferrington, she was great.

Hankey makes me laugh for the sneering and the tantrums.

I showed my Dad the Anthony Fleet's first leg video and it's already hit youtube. I've never seen someone that nervous not being able to pass or hold his darts. I don't know what's worse, getting 5 with 3 darts or going for the triple 20 and getting double 1 which I've never seen at this level before. Things would have being worse if it was a PDC crowd.

Alex Roy comes out to Orton's old theme music and even does the pose. Mervyn King to HHH's "King of Kings" music.

Anthony Fleet's first leg at the Lakeside

For those like me who didn't catch it last night, wow. That won't be forgotten in a hurry.

To illustrate Butch's point the match between Montgomery and Thompson that was Tony Fleet who is playing Wolfie is having an absolute shocker. The guy looks like a bag of nerves, is dropping his arrows, and his first leg featured a 25, a 5 and an 11.

 

And yet I imagine this won't be the worst performance of the BDO this year, it really is that cack.

 

Having grown up watching the BDO, I tried to defend it but have given up now as the standard is dreadful.

This. It is awful. The past few finals have being good for drama but that's about it.

Random thoughts:

BDO quality is awful but the finals the past few years have being dramatic.

I like Rob Walker but I didn't like him and Bobby George presenting. I think Murray and George work better.

I fucking wish Julia Ferrington (sp) from Radio 5 Live would do the interviews again. She hasn't done it for the past few years. I thought she did a good job and looks good as well.

I like David Croft's commentary in darts and F1. I miss John Part's commentary as well.

I liked Simon Whitlock when he played in the BDO, glad to see him doing so well.

It's rare when something has gone on for longer that it isn't the most prestigious. BDO has the history but the PDC has more value.

On the twat list of darts players I can't stand would be Kirk Shepard, Brian Woods, Chris Mason and top of the lot, Mervyn King.

David Tennant is really going to be fucking missed. He's the best Doctor ever for my money, then Tom Baker and third spot probably Christopher Eccleston. Tennant's going to get one hell of a farewell, the viewing figures are going to be huge come Christmas.
