  1. I'm surprised they let Sheffield talk as much as they do. His accent does make him seem stupid. Same with Slater, and Gabriel struggles to make sense.

I like Tarver's intensity, and Darren Young is fine on the mic but no one cares. Otunga should be the most charismatic bar Barrett but he needs practice.

  2. From his Wikipedia page:

"World Wrestling Federation, second run (1989)

Windham returned to the WWF in 1989 as the Widowmaker. Despite the nickname, Windham did not change his image much, portraying a heel cowboy type character. The Widowmaker was to have been on Randy Savage's Survivor Series team, but he left the company due to undisclosed personal reasons. Windham's father and brother were actually getting ready to go to jail on counterfeiting charges so he asked the WWF for his release. He was replaced by Earthquake in the match. On March 16, 1990, he attempted to challenge AJPW Triple Crown champion Jumbo Tsuruta, but was defeated."

  3. It's getting the expected mixed reaction on the ROH forum. Some obvious "lolz NXTs next breakout star!" comments, along with how he'll never get anywhere unless he sucks up to Vince's son-in-law etc.

It got me thinking as to how many ROH wrestlers have gone on to WWE? My knowledge isn't great so I can't think of too many:

    CM Punk

    Matt Sydal

    Danielson

    Low Ki

    Paul London

    Brian Kendrick

Nigel was nearly there but had to go to TNA instead

Not sure if there are any others who got development deals but didn't make it etc?

  4. Inception

Now, I'm the kinda guy who will end up fucking hating something because it has been overhyped to the max, so regardless of how good it actually is I just hate it because I'm sick to death of it .. but this was fucking awesome.

Loved it from start to finish. Best movie ever? Not by a long shot, but definitely one of the best cinema experiences I've had in a long time. Fantastic performances from all involved, some very clever visuals, and a soundtrack to die for. Downloaded it tonight actually and it stands up by itself completely. Some really really good tracks.

And now the latest thing I've watched is a few minutes from Piranha 3D which was fucking awesome:

  5. Kick Ass

First time since I saw it at the cinema, in glorious HD.

Actually enjoyed it even more the second time around. The characters are likeable and relatable, the dialogue works well, and the script is pretty spot on.

Visually the movie looks absolutely fantastic, and the direction throughout the whole thing actually astounds me at points. Especially certain scenes with Hit Girl. The music fits perfectly, and the visual style suits the storyline completely.

Probably the best movie all-round I've seen in a long time. I honestly can't find fault in any of it, and it's the sort of movie I'd love to have my name attached to.

  6. Signing Davey is the most important move they've made in quite a while. They fucked up Tyler's push (although never was sure about him as champ), Roderick is always going to be close but not quite champion, and Austin Aries can't have it forever.

No one in the company is a better fit for champion than Davey.

  7. Loki.

Someone who has a clear understanding of the wrestling business, and doesn't like any shit. Good sense of humour along with decent discussion skills.

A rarity in these parts. Always worth reading.

Plus a Nash sig. I mean that would probably win all by itself.

Why Supremo is even on there I'll never know.

  8. That last page alone is the best thing I've read in ages.

I love people who meltdown without even being made to!

It's like a delayed reaction. Be careful anyone who said anything to Dangerously in this topic, he'll probably be after you in 2012.
