Bret vs Vince at 'Mania.

That specific moment had absolutely no redeeming features.

At least Hart returning had a couple of good moments, like him with HBK, and him with Vince etc, but that actual match .. awful.

Even Cena's 'firing' had the great 'goodbye' speech, arguably his best promo in quite some time.

I went for Hardcore Justice.

I haven't been that embarassed to watch an event since WWECW:D2D.

Certainly polarised opinions but I definitely fell on the hate side.

Looking at it, it reminds me of how high a calibre of long-running feuds there were over the past year. Quite impressed really.

Went for Nexus/Cena in the end - even though there were bad moments towards the end, there were some really exciting and innovative moments, and a very impressive push for numerous new guys by WWE.

Michaels/Taker came close from a sentimental standpoint.

A couple of contenders but went for Chest.

Why is Neil on there?

Tricky choice between Family Guy and pat, as the others are actually funny.

ajmcstyles definitely - again, like White Noise, there's one person that stands out by a huge margin.

Others can be shit on the odd occasion but no one has consistency like him.

Mike Castle by a HUGE margin.

How some of the others are on the list, I have no idea.

In comparison to Mike, they are absolute genius.

I just received Final Battle 2009 so starting with that tonight.

All three are good. Very different from each other.

Audition is a bit weird, but parts of it are memorable.

Funny Games I suppose is in a similar mould to I Spit On Your Grave/Last House on the Left etc, though looks a bit better at least.

Battle Royale is definitely my favourite out of those.

Martys was fantastic. I had high expectations going in, after stuff like Inside and Switchblade Romance etc, but it was certainly one of the most powerful movies I've ever seen.

Worth a watch if your a fan of the old films, (wont be as over the top as the older ones like), but again not to bad.

I felt completely the opposite.

The film is completely pointless if you're a fan of the old films.

I kinda got what they were trying to do, though I do think everything worked far better in the original.

It's often a problem with remakes vs originals - I much prefer the gritty lower budget effects of movies from the late 70s compared to the glossy stuff we get now. It's almost too good to the point of looking very fake these days. I can't quite explain it.

I think they had to go that route with Freddy because it's such an iconic role identified with Robert Englund, so they needed to do something different with the character. It's not quite as easy as shoving a new actor into Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers etc.

Finally got round to seeing the Nightmare On Elm Street remake.

As a huge fan of the original, I didn't want to pay to see this in the cinema, nor on DVD/Blu-ray, but certainly wanted to give it a go out of morbid curiosity at least.

Considering the amount of sequels/remakes in the horror genre, I have to say this one wasn't bad as far as they go.

However, its biggest crime was that it felt utterly pointless. I don't think it brought anything new to the table, nor did it beat the original at anything.

It certainly didn't offend me as much as I thought it would, but by the end I just felt like it wasn't worth it.
