  1. Anyone know where I can get Figure Four, Wrestling Observer & Bryan & Vinny shows for free cos I usually use XWT & PWT but they havent had any shows to download for ages ?

Its not a massive amount. Just stick the money on the table and buy them.

Got to agree with this, it's eight quid a month and you get all the radio shows, the newsletters, and if you're feeling particularly brave, their messageboard. I find that sort of question from boydy insulting, if he wants them that much, pay for them!

  2. Has anyone got a PDF copy of Ring Of Hell? Really need it urgently for my dissertation but can't wait three weeks for it to arrive from America. Would be happy to part a small bit of cash if anyone has a physical copy to shift as that'd be a lot more useful. Cheers if anyone can help.

  3. Didn't Jericho aim to hit Shawn Michaels though, and he just got out the way? On screen it wasn't as though Jericho was aiming to smack Mrs.Showstopper. It was an accident. Well that's how I remember it, can't be bothered watching it again. I liked it. Would it have been okay if Y2J put her in the Walls of Jericho and made her squeal like a little piggie instead?

What part of "I didn't enjoy seeing a woman hit in the face for real" don't people understand?

I think Chris Brown is the fucking man. Does that upset you treacle?

    Is that really on?

  4. And I'd expect Morales vs Limond to be picked up by Sky,maybe even ITV at a long shot.

If Limond wins against a name like Morales it will be huge for him,it's gotta be shown live surely. He could pull it off at this stage aswell I think.

I doubt very much the Limond match will happen, let alone be on telly.

  5. Anyone seen the Frank Warren card for September? The Magnificent Seven...looks really good.

Here's how the card is looking at the minute

    -Nathan Cleverly v Karo Murat

    -Kell Brook v Michael Jennings

    -Enzo Maccarinelli v Alexander Frenkel

    -Ryan Rhodes v Lukas Konecny

    -Darren Barker v Matthew Macklin

    -Derek Chisora v Sam Sexton

    -James DeGale v TBA

    Non-televised fights:

    -Frankie Gavin v Curtis Woodhouse

    -Don Broadhurst v TBA

    -Ronnie Heffron v TBA

Gavin's not fighting Woodhouse anymore, he's fighting an Irish jobber for the Irish title.

As for Enzo, well he was never very good, but he's a really nice guy so I hope his good run carries on, was well pleased watching him win the European title on some crap stream.

  6. Bullshit non story considering Roach trains Khan and Pacquiaio. More importantly, Clinton Woods retired today.

Despite there being a fucking quote from the promoter saying that the fight was offered?

I did like the humour though in talking about non stories then posting some news about Clinton Woods.

    Good arrows there lad.

Bob Arum is the biggest bullshitter in boxing, a slimy piece of shit who promises the world but rarely delivers anything. Who would train Khan if he fought Manny? The answer is 'no-one' as the fight would never happen - at least not in this decade. Just think, why on earth would Manny fight Khan? For legacy? No, Cotto, Mayweather and a Marquez third match would deliver him much more legacy. For money? There is no money in a Khan fight, no-one has heard of him in America.

  7. It seems that Amir Khan was offered a fight against Pacquiao.

In a conversation with Bob Arum, as we discussed the visit of Muhammad Ali last week to the UK and the Republic of Ireland, the head of Top Rank revealed that Amir Khan was offered the challenge of fighting the world
  8. ^agreed with all of that, although I really like Tyson Fury.

Did you see his fight last weekend? He looked like an american journeyman and that worries me (even with his back injury). He is our equivalent to Valuev at the moment but with more speed however he looks very one dimensional. I would like to see him put in the ring in a few fights time with someeone like Sprott or Williams or, god forbid, even Harrison to try and show if he has got what it takes to be considered a legit prospect.

The fight was a disgrace, but at least he had the decency to admit it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OACU8LQq-Vg...feature=channel

I really like him though, he's honest, and he's a pretty good boxer. The McDermott fight in September will be a good test, if he blows him away in a couple of rounds I think we can get a bit excited about him.

  9. ^agreed with all of that, although I really like Tyson Fury. I actually 'run' (I say that loosely as all I did was create the page) the David Haye fan page on Facebook so I'm a bit of a fan boy.

  10. The man is all talk and no action. He never had any intention of fighting Vitali. Hopefully Valuev shuts him up for good.

Stupid thing to say - the way the Klitschko contracts were made left David with a horribly poor deal, with far too many rematch clauses and hardly any money - especially with the fall of Setanta. At least this way against Valuev he'll get a better deal - and let's be honest, a better shot at the world title, which will ultimately lead to a bigger fight with one of the Klitschkos down the line.

I'm not sure it is necessarily a 'better shot'. I'd say it ranks inbetween the two Klitschko brothers in terms of difficulty. Valuev seems to have decent chin so you have to figure it has a good chance of going the distance and a 23stone man puching downwards at a chin that wilted against Carl Thompson for twleve rounds doesn't make anything a certainty.

I respect that, and I don't think that Valuev is as bad as people make, but he's a far easier prospect than either Klitschko - see the Holyfield fight for proof of that, Evander did him for 12 rounds and missed out on the decision for some farcical reason. Haye being about twenty years younger and twice as powerful as Holy is now should feel comfortable in knocking him out. If Chagaev can beat Valuev, then I'm sure Haye has a chance.

  12. Hello guys, anyone know where I can get any AWA, WCCW, NWA, BWO, NWO or ECW t-shirts pretty cheap? Don't mind if they're knock-offs, just if they're good quality.

Edit - this WCCW looks nice W01130pi.jpg

but sadly it's only on WWE Shopzone with the DVD and I already have that.

I've had to close down my e-bay account cos I was using it far too much, but if there are any decent bargains on there I'd be tempted to use again.

  13. anyone going to Khan/Barrera?? i'm hoepfully gonna go, ticket prices aint bad and it'll be awesome to see Barrera in the flesh.

quick question about the NIA though, has anyone ever been there? is it easy to get too driving wise? i always thought it was way outside the city center for some reason, is it?

Two things - it's at the MEN, and tickets are gonna sell out very very soon.
