knightmare Posted June 26, 2014 Author Share Posted June 26, 2014 WAW WRESTLING BREAKING NEWS+++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The WAWCC Have announced this morning that there will be a rematch for the WAW World heavyweight title and belt between champion Doug Williams and king of extreme USA Star Steve Corino. This will take place at Epic studios Norwich, 27th September 2014. Their last match in March ended bitterly when the fight was stopped on cuts to Steve Corino, making Williams the new champion for the belt vacated by Rick Knight when retiring. Steve Corino was promised a rematch or another title shot on the night and the WAWCC Have kept their promise. Doug Williams made a mandatory defence in June against Zak Knight retaining after 7 hard fought rounds. This is the first match to be announced for the next big WAW Presentation at Epic studios, more will follow. Tickets are available.
