Herts & Essex Wrestling Posted March 25, 2013 Author Share Posted March 25, 2013 HEW LIVING ON A PRAYER 9 - RESULTS: Â In The opening moments of the show The Commentary Team El J and Zach Token interviewed The King Of Old School Steve Corino live in the ring, Corino quickly blasted the Takeley crowd with various insults, eventually attacking Zach and putting the boots to him, Corino attempted to Piledriver Token but then ran for cover when HEW Champion Aron Frost hit the ring. This added only more fuel to fire to the much anticipated 30 Minute Iron Man Match later in the show. Â Match 1, Mitchell Starr w/ Tommy Lee beat Sam Knee when Danny Boy Collins surprised everyone by showing up and attacking Knee behind the ref's back. Brett Meadows then came to make the save for his tag team partner and after a back and forth battle on the microphone it was decided that this could only be settled in a Tag Team Match that night! Â Match 2, Rex Wylde beat Brad O'Brien. Â Match 3, The Devils Playboys beat Mitchell Starr and Danny Boy Collins w/ Tommy Lee, when after Meadows and Collins brawled to the outside of the venue, Sam Knee surprised Mitchell Starr with a DDT out of nowhere when Starr tried to spear him. Â Match 4, Danny Blaze beat Danny Morocco. Â Match 5, Aron Frost retained his HEW Championship against Steve Corino in a 30 Minute Iron Man Match, at one point Corino was 3-0 against Frost, he fought his way back to 3-3 and in the final 5 seconds of the contest Aron Frost hit the TKO to win the match 4-3.
