"Apparently we will go away quietly! ...for now at least!"

...Due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our control, PPW has sadly been forced to cancel its final show (scheduled for Friday 13th April 2012).

I will give a fuller explanation below, but I want to start by thanking everyone who has been involved in Phoenix Pro Wrestling throughout 2011/12. Its been a marvelous year and we will return very shortly - probably sooner than you think!!

Thanks to the wrestlers, all of whom, in their own unique ways, have made PPW a great product over the past year.

Thanks to Team Phoenix, without whom none of this would have been possible.

Thanks to the West Brom Labour Club, which has definitely become our "home ground" over the past year! We hope that you recover from whatever dramas you are going through, and I'm sure you'll see PPW come home soon enough.

And, of course, thanks to the PPW fans...

We have developed a unique fan base over the past year and we have gotten to know you all really well:

Sue and Den - my favourite tag team in the history of pro wrestling!!

Mr "When is Raven coming back?"!!

"Superkid" James Williams!!

The 2 UKFFers... who I always forget who is who!!

Sam Bradley and Corey "One Dem" Barnett - who always criticise, but always pay their entrance fee!!

Diva Slapper!!

Darren and Keelan - the Superfans!! (keep sending the emails, I will always answer!!)

and so on and so forth, you all genuinely mean a lot to everyone here at PPW, so thank you very much and we will see you all soon

...

Tell you what, I'm gonna forget all the boring behind the scenes politics, that you don't really care about!!

Let's leave it at the thank yous, and I'll end by saying (CHEAP PLUG HERE WE COME!! haha) please get in touch if you want to see your favourite PPW stars at your son or daughter's birthday party - Phoenix Pro Wrestling offers birthday treats of all different shapes and sizes to suit anyone's budget, and we absolutely love the parties! - and by saying "BY THE DAMN DVD, IT'S BLOOMING MARVELOUS!!"

Thanks a lot, and we'll see you all soon

This is bad news for Professional Wrestling in the West Midlands. This promotion always produced matches with some of the best wrestlers from Scotland,Nottingham as well as the Midlands.

Hope this decision is reversed soon

Thanks for you kind words. PPW will be back. We are just taking a break. In the mean time, we hope to see you in West Brom on April 13th for our last show for a while. It will definitely be one to remember!

Who is gonna be in the glasgow street fight

Funny you should ask...

Just revealed on www.phoenixprowrestling.co.uk...

!! STREETFIGHT SPECIALIST RETURNS WITH AN OPEN CHALLENGE !!

After a near 5 month absence from PPW, Scotland's Scott Maverick returns on Friday 13th April with an open challenge for anyone with the guts to accept!! Maverick, one of the most naturally gifted performers to emerge from PBW Wrestling's Glasgow Academy in recent times, has thrown down the gauntlet by issuing an open challenge to a Glasgow Streetfight!!...

...Maverick had some pretty big moments in 2011, but perhaps none more memorable than his Combat Zone Streetfight with CZW Wrestling's Drew Gulak, from the United States of America. That night the two competitors brawled all over the West Bromwich Labour Club, in what was perhaps the most intensely fought match up in PPW History!! Not content with competing in one of the matches of the year in 2011, Maverick is back and issuing a challenge to anyone who thinks they have what it takes to help him create history once again!! This match could definitely steal the show!!

MORE BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS THIS WEEKEND !!

!! 'DAVID vs GOLIATH' BOUT SIGNED FOR FRIDAY 13TH !!

Over the past few months, whether it be his intimidating 6 foot 8 inch presence at ringside, or whether it is him running rampage through PPW Fans' birthday parties, there is no doubt that Barricade is making a big impact in Phoenix Pro Wrestling as of late!! Now, on Friday 13th April 2012 in West Bromwich, PPW's Giant will face a challenge from someone who may not match up to him physically, but has heart in abundance...

...Scotland's Jamie Feerick has not been seen in PPW for a number of months since he bravely intervened in "Luscious" Lucas Black's viscious assault on Evolution League rival, Stevie Xavier. Now, making his in ring return to PPW, Feerick will be looking to prove once again that if you want something badly enough, it doesn't matter the size of the obstacle put in front of you... However, there is no BIGGER obstacle than Barricade!! Who will emerge victorious in this classic 'David vs Goliath' encounter?

THIS WEEKEND WE WILL START TO REVEAL THE COMPETITORS FOR THE FRIDAY 13TH ROYAL RUMBLE!!
