House of Pain Wrestling Academy - Saturday 25th February

House of Pain

Recommended Posts

On Saturday 25th February, the House of Pain will present their next show at Gym Combat in Nottingham.

The main event will be for the House of Pain championship as champion Nate Colt defends against the no.1 challenger "Crazy" Chris Connell who will be accompanied by Dr. Craven.

Connell is coming off a big, albeit controversial win over Colts tag team partner and friend LJ Heron in January and will no doubt provide a stiff challenge for the never say die champion.

HOP TITLE - Nate Colt vs "Crazy" Chris Connell w/ Dr. Craven

Also, the Hall Family (Tony and Matt) will defend the HOP Tag Team Titles for the first time. Due to the change in date, SC Supreme and Bam Bam Barton are unable to attend for their scheduled title match. Who will take advantage of this opportunity and step up?

NEW MATCH ANNOUNCED

House of Pain Submission Match

Chris Botherway vs Johnny Levelle

Back in December, these 2 technicians met for the first time and although their personalities could not be different, their styles made for a great and very competitive match.......then Levelle ruined it by winning with a roll up holding the ropes.

In January, Chris Botherway returned the win by making Levelle tap out in a 6 man tag team match.

Now, 2 of the most technically gifted wrestlers compete in a submissions match. Considering the vast knowledge of both in submissions, this should be a hell of a match.

FULL THROTTLE DIVISION TAKES CENTRE STAGEAfter the vicious and emphatic beating they received after the Zak Nitro/Alex Chaos match in January, "Adrenaline" Danny Chase, James Murphy and Zak Nitro have challenged the 3 man team of HOP Full Throttle Champion Shane Oldham, Alex Chaos and "The German Sensation" Jurgen Heimlich.Unfortunately, word has reached HOP management that Danny Chase will be unable to attend on the date, so Murphy and Nitro have been given a chance to pick a new partner.Either way, this match will be held under Full Throttle rules, the first EVER Full Throttle tag team match. 10 minute time limit, only one member of each team in the ring at one time but no tags are required. This should be chaotic.Shane Oldham, Alex Chaos and Jurgen HeimlichVsJames Murphy, Zak Nitro and ????Also, the first ever Full Throttle fatal 4 way as some new faces meet some older ones and some changed ones.Scumboy vs AK Prodigy vs DangerRuss vs "The NightStalker" Brian Wright.Dr. Craven has told HOP management that Wright has been cured and is a reformed character, add that to the high impact dynamic of Scumboy and AK and the damn right wacky antics of DangerRuss and it craziness follows.

HUGE HEAVYWEIGHT CLASHED ANNOUNCED FOR FEBRUARY 25TH

Over recent months, there are 2 men who just can't seem to get enough of fighting each other.

These 2 men just happen to be 2 of the biggest men in the House of Pain.

Carnival of Sinn member Barricade and "The Hammer" Marc Scott.

On Saturday 25th February, these 2 bulls collide head on, in the middle of the ring.

Who will survive? And will the ring? We shall find out.

"TEXTBOOK CHALLENGE ANNOUNCED ONLINE"

Former HOP Champion "Textbook" Dave Breaks has recently started a petition online to be brought back into the House of Pain fold. Breaks, a highly skilled, but utterly arrogant technician, was last seen dropping the HOP title to Nate Colt back in July, then showed up as a surprise commentator last month, turning some heads of incoming wrestlers such as LJ Heron, who Breaks had a heated and competitive rivalry with through the second half of 2010.

On Saturday 25th February, the "Textbook Challenge" has been laid down to anyone in the HOP locker room to test their skills against the former champion.

Who will grab the opportunity to steal the spotlight?
