House of Pain Wrestling Academy - Sunday 22nd January 2012

House of Pain

Recommended Posts

House of Pain presents its first show of the year on Sunday 22nd January at their home venue: Gym Combat in Nottingham.

Featuring some of the best up and coming wrestlers from the Nottingham and midlands area, this will no doubt be an action packed, family friendly show, looking to start 2012 with a bang.

ROUND 3 FOR CHAOS AND NITRO

Hotly tipped newcomers Alex Chaos and Zak Nitro have engaged in quite the rivalry as of late. Start their young careers together, its built on proving who the better man is. After 2 one on one matches in November and december of 2011 (almost stealing the show in both), they have 1 win each.

Now its time to prove to themselves, the HOP fans and each other who the better man is, as they go one on one, 1 more time.

OLDHAM TO DEFEND CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE

Shane Oldham (formerly Spyral) has had quite the end to 2011. Turning his back on the fans, he won a 1 night tournament over Max Angelus and Danny Chase to win the cruiserweight title.

Claiming he's going to be a fighting champion, he has said he'll defend the belt against anyone on Sunday 22nd January. HOP management are looking through the records to decide the no.1 contender, but either way, Oldham will have to put his money where his big mouth is.

TITLE SITUATION

"The Heat" LJ Heron won the fatal 4 way in December to become the no.1 contender to the HOP championship, held by his tag team partner and best friend Nate Colt, so on this show we were all set for the title match, however, Dr' Craven once again has thrown an oar in the works.

As the manager/doctor of "Crazy" Chris Connell, he has complained that Nate Colts interference at the end of the match led directly to Connell being pinned and therefore wasnt fair.

We'll keep HOP fans upto date on this situation.
