I like Mr Blobby so much that I designed a poster in his colours. I wish we could book Mr Blobby.

That's right! We're back in Birmingham in November, putting on wrestling shows that are FUN FUN FUN!! After a successful first outing in August, which included a show in Smith's Wood, we're now foraying into Castle Vale and Erdington too, bringing with us our brand of family-friendly shows that are also high-action and exciting.

For an idea of what happened last time we were in Birmingham, check the

of the tournament we held at our last Smith's Wood show.

Amongst those that will be appearing for ATTACK! on one or more of the shows are:

The winner of the Elder Stein Invitational, and fresh off his CHIKARA appearance, "White Lightning" Mark Andrews;

The most intense cruiserweight in the UK today, "Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman;

Stixx, head trainer at Nottingham's House Of Pain, and one of the biggest blokes in Britwres;

One of the breakout UK stars of 2011, Max Angelus;

The Dunne Brothers: consisting of the runner-up of the Elder Stein Invitational, "Dynamite" Pete Dunne, and his vain brother "Delicious" Damian Dunne;

Top Irish star Vic Viper, who in the past has wrestled names such as TNA's Christopher Daniels and Dragon Gate star CIMA;

Birmingham's favourite son, "The Star in the City" Ryan Smile;

Scott D'Amore trained "The Pride of Wales" Eddie Dennis, back in the UK after a trip working for independent promotions in the USA;

Head trainer at the Dragon Pro Wrestling Academy in Newport, "Flyin" Mike Bird;

One of the standout graduates from Bird's academy, the unbelievably athletic "Flash" Flash Morgan;

and more to be announced as the shows approach!

(Cards subject to change. Not all workers will necessarily be appearing on all 3 shows, please check ahead if unsure.)

We expect some of these guys might have things to say in the build-up to the shows, so make sure you stay tuned to our facebook page for all the latest!

The details of the shows are as follows:

How's about a bit of last-minute amazing news for you all? Top UK star ZACK SABRE JR is joining us for our Birmingham shows on 18-20th November! Having spent the last few years competing against world-renowned wrestlers such as now-WWE ace Daniel Bryan, US independent stalwarts such as Chris Hero, and Japanese stars such as Yoshinobu Kanemaru, 2011 was the year when Zack himself also went global. After visiting the USA in early '11, making trips to places like CHIKARA, in July he recieved the ultimate reward for his hard work, securing a three-month tour of Japan with Pro Wrestling NOAH. Now back in the UK, Sabre is looking to challenge himself as much as ever, and there'll be no shortage of that when he visits ATTACK! Pro Wrestling this week! BE THERE!

  • 3 weeks later...

Well, with less than 2 weeks until these shows, i suppose we should announce a couple of matches for you all! We'll start off tonight by announcing one clash from each show. AND HERE THEY BE, complete with colourful graphics and overly-long sentences!

----------------------------------------------------------------

[The match we announced here has since been replaced with Zack Sabrey goodness! See the opening post for Sunday's full card!]

----------------------------------------------------------------

[This match was initially announced for Saturday, it's now on Friday. No biggie!]

Mark Andrews is hot property right now. The spectacular high-flyer has fought his way all across Britain and Europe in the past year, and in August received a huge reward for his work, jetting over to the USA to compete in CHIKARA

Our feet are all achey from wandering around putting flyers in doors, so we thought we'd even out the pain by making our fingers achey too. What's the best way to get achey fingers? By typing up some announcements, of course! Take a look at these...

Seems that word from our last show in Smith’s Wood has spread far and wide, because we’ve heard from one of the biggest men in British wrestling, and he wants to join the party! Stixx stands taller than we can reach, and weighs heavier than we can lift. So we didn’t much fancy saying no when he asked if he could pop along to St John The Baptist Centre on November 20th (would you say no to that face?!). We’ve not got a match for him just yet, but just the news that he’s there is sure to set the locker room on alert. Watch this space!

eddieopenchallengeoverview.jpg

It seems that Eddie Dennis still hasn’t quite gotten over the events that transpired at our last shows in Birmingham, where he was defeated by Mark Andrews and Mike Hitchman respectively. Earlier today we received a less-than-pleasant phone message from Dennis, where he made it quite clear that he was fed up of being beaten by “skinnyboys” (his words, not ours!), and that he was going to set it right at our next Birmingham weekender. He demanded that we “feed him a vanilla midget” on each of our three upcoming Birmingham shows, vowing to “kill a cruiserweight” each night. We can’t write the full message out because of the extreme content of it (along with the fact that large chunks of it were in Welsh), but in spite of this, we think it’ll be interesting to see if Eddie can indeed topple a cruiser three nights running. We await the response of the ATTACK! roster…

Just like when that scrap metal van is driving round your neighbourhood, it won't be long before you hear from us again!

Cheers,

The ATTACK! Pro Wrestling team

Hi there UKFF, long time no see! We've got something to announce today for our Castle Vale show on Friday November 18th. Well, two things in fact, because someone has answered Eddie Dennis' challenge from yesterday!

----------------------------------------------------------------

[The match we announced here has since been replaced by the awesome encounter that will be Zack Sabre Jr vs Wild Boar. Check the opening post for the writeup!]

As announced yesterday, Eddie Dennis is more than displeased about defeats at the hands of cruiserweights at our last shows, and the man mountain has issued a furious open challenge to the cruisers of the ATTACK! locker room. The first response didn

You're all really great listeners, did anybody ever tell you that?! We'll presume that the silence in this thread is everyone waiting with bated breath for the next announcement. Well, bate your breath no longer, for here it is. And, by golly, it's two matches for our Erdington (19/11) show!

Just a quick one tonight UKFF, because it's my birthday and i want to get away from my computer to drink beer! But i've got something you might want to hear about. It's the final respondant to Eddie Dennis' cruiserweight open challenge, which is a surprising one to say the least! Read away!

Hi there everybody! No announcement yesterday as i was observing the sabbath (not because i was hungover, i promise), but we are back today... with a VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENT, no less! "Dynamite" Pete Dunne has sent us in this video, we advise you give it a click below and listen to what he has to say...

(Yes, there's still no embed option on the UKFF. Sorry about that.)

And so, following on from all that, we can announce this match for our Smith's Wood show on November 20th:

sunday_petevsmandrews.jpg

At our last Smith's Wood show in August, Mark Andrews and Pete Dunne went head-to-head in the final of the first annual Elder Stein Invitational. At the end of a competitive and exciting contest, Andrews' hand was raised, and he was declared the winner. But Pete Dunne, clearly not happy with the manner of victory, has issued the above video challenge to "White Lightning". Mark Andrews has accepted, and the match is on. At St John The Baptist Centre on November 20th, Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews will meet once again, this time, with no disqualifications!

----------------------------------------------------------------

I bet parents wish they could get fruit over with their children as much as we can. If you have any interest in watching a recap video of the aforementioned tournament from our last show, it's sat looking nice on the 'welcome' tab on our facebook page.

Anyway, that's all for now, see you later!

We had planned a slightly different announcement to this one today, but we reckon you'll like this one more! Somebody has got in touch with us after a sudden change of availability, and quite simply, we couldn't say no. So, please welcome to all 3 nights of the Birmingham weekender... ZACK SABRE JR.

Yes, this will mean some changes to the matches we've announced so far. It's not something we do lightly, but we know that in this case it's something you all won't mind! There's some crackers lined up, so i'll try to get all 3 of Zack's matches ready to announce real soon, as well as replacement matches for those ones disrupted by his addition.

As if we weren't already excited enough about these shows! I can't handle much more of this...

Until next time (should i still be able to maintain my bodily functions),

The ATTACK! Pro Wrestling team

(P.S. Sorry about the unprompted switches from singular to plural when referring to ourselves, we do get pretty excitable at times...)

Hi there! Thanks for your ASTOUNDING responses to our big announcement yesterday (*ahem*). There's been a couple of changes to the cards as a result of the matches we're about to announce, but it's all well worth it. Check these stonkers out. Then come watch them. WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS!!

Here are the matches Zack Sabre Jr will be partaking in this weekend:

friday_zackvhitchman.jpg

What a match this will be! In a year that has seen Wild Boar travel all over the country, and make a trip to Norway to compete in a European cruiserweight tournament, now he gets the chance to prove himself against the best the UK has to offer. Zack Sabre Jr is probably the best mat technician in the country today, and has had a worldwide breakout in this year, which has taken him most notably to Japan for a three-month tour with Pro Wrestling Noah. Now back on British soil, Zack finds himself against someone he has never faced before, and it
