dangerously420 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 What about Rob Cage? He is a great talent and a former UKW champion!
Airboy Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 What about Rob Cage? He is a great talent and a former UKW champion! Â True this. Rob continues to appear at UKW shows regularly - although i'm not sure he's doing this one unfortunately :\ Â And yes I assume Doug is definitely going to be there. UKW Don't false advertise and i'm pretty sure it's set in stone
theoriginalpinhead Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 ive heard he may not be back till 31st now
UKWrestlingExperience Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 We had confirmation last night that unfortunately Douglas Williams has had to withdraw from the event. Â Taken from his post on the event page on Facebook: "it is with great regret that I must announce that I am unable to attend the event. I will not be able to leave USA until after the weekend for personal reasons. I have explained to the great folk at UKW that next time I am in the country I will make a special effort to appear before all the great UKW fans and make up for this unfortunate turn of events. Once again my apologies and please be assured that UKW did all they could to bring me to the show..." Â We hope to announce a new main event within the next few hours. Whilst it's always going to be difficult to fill the boots of somebody of the calibre of Douglas Williams, especially at this late notice, we are hoping to announce the UKW debut of one of the most respected wrestlers in the UK today. Â More to follow as soon as this is confirmed and we look forward to welcoming Doug back in the hopefully not too distant future. Â Anybody wishing to obtain a refund on tickets purchased please get in touch.
