Promoters/bookers etc

Reading the pete staniforth thread a few names were thrown up that i'm not to familiar with, including steve gauntly, rick peters etc so got me thinking, that of all the promoters out there, whose good and whose bad? I know this could turn into a mud throwing topic, hopefully it wont. As someone whose familiar with some promoters, there's a lot more i've never heard of. So would be interesting for me and people alike.
