Sports Bar in Birmingham..

I'm stuck in central Birmingham for about four hours tomorrow evening and there's a Spanish football match on that I'm on keen watching to eat up some time (between 9-11). It's on SkySports- any Brummies know of any sports bars in the area that would be likely to show this, or show lots of sport/football in general?

 

I've searched the 'net but the promising-sounding sportscafe.. is closed.

 

Perhaps could have stuck this in the football thread and cynically disguised it as conversation starter ("hey- blah blah match looks good blah blah anyone know of anywhere in this precise place I can watch it?"), but I thought I'd cast the net out wider with this. Stick it in there though it necessary.

Sorry if I can't be of any specific help, but if Birmingham is anything like Glasgow, the Spanish football will be on in most pubs on a Saturday night.

Check out anywhere on Broad Street. I suspect they'll be showing it but being Saturday night it could be tricky because most of the live football venues in the daytime are clubs at nightime. Otherwise a Casino might be your best bet, theres a Grosevenor casino at the top of Broad Street near to Gatecrasher and Broadway plaza isn't too far either with a Bowling Alley & Casino just off the Five Ways island. Yeah had it in the back of my mind that I'd be sitting in a bar full of 'going out' people drinking warm bitter trying to watch La Liga with a Pussycat Dolls soundtrack. I'll head over to Broad Street in my full Villarreal kit + shinpads and hopefully the rest will sort itself out . Bowling Alley sounds like a good shout so I'll try and locate that.
