  1. Is Mike Hodgwood doing the commentary on the DVD's? I was thinking about picking up The Final Countdown Tour, but I would be deterred if he was on commentary for the events?

No it's been Prazak and Hero since the FCT DVD's

Hey Olly, do you get your ROH dvds from Smartmarkvideos or AMerchandise

  2. Who should be the next guy to hold the title or at least be pushed to face Double A

Tyler Black is the most likely future contender but will he, or even should he, win the belt

guys like Colt Cabana or Rodrick Strong are guys who have been around long enough to deserve the belt but realistically that will never happen

Kenny Omega seems to moving up a bit to becoming a contender,

Claudio Castignoli and Davey Richards have everything.

I was going to make a thread on which ROH PPV was the best but from what ive heard it would be hard for any of them to beat the first Man Up, so there you go, i was also thinking of doing one on ROHs best match ever but there were too many candidates to fit in the poll.

  3. The lack of stuff going on in the ROH thread at moment tells you all you need to know about the state of ROH at present. I was hoping to write a piece entitled "The Decline and Fall of ROH", but I havn't had time.

I'd be more inclined to buy "The Rise and Stagnation of ROH" as a credible title.

How about "ROH Mans Down" or "ROH This might be the Final Battle for us" or even "ROH Ironically it is Suvival of The Fittest now" or "ROH Unified and then Divided"

    Just a thought

  4. I liked Batman Beyond. It wasn't better than batman animated but return of the joker was great. And then to tie it into the end of JLU

The Futuristic enviroment robbed the Batman name of a lot of its charm.

Also the flashback from that movie ( the uncensored version} is probably the most messed up thing to ever come out of an animated batman installment

  5. Overall, an excellent, 4-hour plus marathon show that reaffirmed my interest in ROH.

Ladder War 2: American Wolves vs. Kevin Steene & El Generico - Okay, so lets get this out there - this was not as good as Ladder War 1. But considering the status of one Eddie Edwards, who by the way was getting a ton of chants and support from the crowd, this was as good a match as they could possibly have pulled out given the circumstances.

Maybe they should have just added the Bucks and Briscoes and made it a TLC War, BANG, problem solved, just a thought.

  6. Can't be arsed to argue - I know what meant and I stand by it. But feel free to cut more promos.:thumbsup:

You know as well as we do that you're really just saying you can't argue because your point was bullshit.

This is getting into Yes Minster territory - "What don't I know Bernard?/ I don't know Minister. I don't know what you don't know."

I don't recall an episode of Yes Minister where Paul Eddington made some stupid comment and got picked up on it and then tried to hide behind a load of bullshit.

On a different note are both the War of the Wire and Ring Of Homicide DVD's no longer on the ROH site?

Any chance of a match run down on both shows, I'm working on the assumption theres a War of the Wire 1 as theres a 2 and Ring Of Homicide ends with Joe Vs Necro.

My guess is that both dvds are sold out and roh arent gonna bother with a reprint due to budget constraints.
