I recently read Preacher, Transmet and Y: The Last Man over the course of a couple of days each. Transmetropolitan was my favourite, great stuff. I liked Preacher a lot too, but I felt like the switch between humour and dark, serious stuff was a little jarring- I felt as though the stuff like cocks getting shot off took away from the rest of it. There's a place for comedy as a means to give different shades of light and dark, but that there was something tonally wrong with some of the stuff in there, which felt really juvenile. I haven't really been keeping up- would Daniels or Low Ki be possibilities for AOTF? Ki is supposedly done with TNA again and Daniels is meant to be working indies to sell the whole firing angle...

They can justify it because that's illegal, copyright fraud and makes it more difficult for people to earn a living doing a dangerous profession that is already hard enough to make a living from as it is. Very few people make any reasonable amount of money from independent wrestling, especially considering the health problems it can cause and the amount of time, money and effort it takes to get to a decent standard. If you want wrestling to prosper, the least you can do is support it. They hardly charge unreasonable amounts of money for the DVDs.

It's very obvious cages have been rattled, and you've all closed ranks to defend each other, 'smart' fans and promoters alike. It's interesting how Ricky Knight went ballistic, it's amusing to read the 'innocent' replies of the implicated, and it's also amusing to see the instigator Daniel Edler put his poker face on and pretend not to be bothered by all this. My point has been made. Anyone who doesn't have a personal interest in this and has got all defensive, has now seen how these people work and the lengths they will go to cover their backs. I have nothing more to say, all that needed to be said was said, and that's it...

You are of course ignoring the fact that this supposed "anti-1PW conspiracy" is actually something that 1PW support and are involved with... there's a difference between "closing ranks" and telling you that you're talking bollocks and trying to stir shit.
