    Began watching Luther on BBC1 over the last couple of weeks. Basically it's a stubborn murder detective who's a followed around by a psychopath named Alice. It's been pretty good so far, although I don't think there's many episodes to go.

     

    Also; The Scheme. Watch it even if you're not Scottish, but put your subtitles on. It's hilarious.

    After a long layoff (mainly due to COD4), I've finally gave going for 100% on GTA another go, but it's just as tedious as before. It is so fucking boring, the stunt jumps are one thing but the pigeons are ridiculous. 200 pigeons spread all over the map isn't the problem really, it's the fact I pick up a wanted level just about every time I pick one off. I've done around 50 now and have intentionally left some of the Most Wanted missions to complete so I don't go completely insane trying to work my way through the pigeons and stunt jumps. Online is alright, but I haven't really gotten into it. I generally just like blocking up the road on GTA Race and firing RPGs at opponents as I wait for them on the road. The fit of rage Americans get themselves into is pure gold. Flying helicopters around the city, without the risk of a huge wanted level which you can pick up if you go on the runway on single player, is an awesome visual too, and jumping out after elevating for a good while is even better.Has anyone tried the glitch on the swings? I love it. Generally I just clear the park but the other day I landed at the other end of the city, or thereabouts.COD4 is still my number one game, though. Although I'm running out of stuff to complete (challenges and headshots), it's as much fun as ever. A few more challenges on the Elite section and the golden Dragunov and it's 100% complete. But anyway, I had one of my favourite games yesterday. It wasn't spectacular or anything it was just the way it panned out. I was sniping on Downpour for some reason and my team were wiped out pretty much instantly with grenades and guys rushing forward, leaving me with a handgun to take on four guys (one of which was a gold cross, not that that means much now). They had a UAV so they were obviously gonna charge me, so I ran towards one of the wooden sheds and pretended to go to the left but got a guy from the right, picked up his MP5 which wasn't silenced (they should be silenced!), made a move towards A, quickly planted a claymore at the front door and got the second guy. After this I just camped at A as it was still 2 v 1 and I was defending, but the remaining guys quickly made a move for B and planted it there. I charged in, jumped one of their claymores, knifed the third guy before the other had time to realise where I was and I caught the final player lying at the very back of B with a few shots of the MP5 with 15 seconds to spare. Like I said, it wasn't amazing or anything but it was great how it worked out, and listening to the Americans rant afterwards is always a highlight.What perks are you COD players using anyway? Generally I use, for SMGs and Assault Rifles (I don't use LMGs) - frag x 3, stopping power and extreme conditioning. For my shotgun I use the grip, sleight of hand and extreme conditioning and when I'm sniping claymore x 2, stopping power and iron lungs. Too many times have I watched a kill cam and opponents have been using juggernaut and last stand. They're a waste of perks, IMO, and frustrating when you can't kill someone!Oh, and has anyone completed or played Resistance: Fall of Man. I played it a few times back at Christmas but I've never really gone back to it, and can't remember an awfu lot about it. Is it worth playing through and completing?

    Has diving ever worked for you lot on PES? I think it worked once with me but the player may have actually fouled me...

    Once for me too. I made Didi Hamann dive on the edge of the box when someone was clipping at his heels and got a free kick plus a yellow for the other player. Like yours though, I suspect it may have been a foul anyway.
    Thought I'd let you know I've won penalties and free-kicks quite a lot recently through diving. Generally I've been twisting and turning on the ball from one area to another until someone applies the slighest bit of pressure, then I've went down and it's worked brilliantly, although if they back off you look like a complete tit. If there's two of their guys surrounding you it works easier though, in my experience.Has anyone got any thoughts on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2?

    What do you do when you make a Game of the Year-winning title? You make more of it. Call of Duty 4 is getting DLC later this Spring, adding brand new maps for the popular online shooter.According to the press release, "We've demonstrated our commitment to delivering the best multiplayer experience in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and that continues with our plans for new downloadable content," explains Infinity Ward's Community Manager, Robert Bowling. "We're excited about the new maps, and the added gameplay variety, and we can't wait to wrap things up and get online with everyone."Considering CoD4 is the best selling game of last year, we're pretty sure the fine folks at Activision are going to have to build another pool of money to swim in once the DLC gets released.

    Call of Duty 4 to get downloadable mapsGreat news. Although it's already very good, a bit more variety in the maps would be welcomed, because there are a few that are complete shit (Backlot, for example).

    I've been addicted to Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare online recently on the PS3, so addicted I haven't taken two other games out of their packaging yet never mind played them. I've began story mode but that's about it, online is so much better, IMO. You learn quite a bit more and it's a lot more challenging. The graphics are out of this world, probably the best I've played on. I'd recommend this 100 times over.

     

    Can anyone confirm whether or not you start over once you reach rank 55?

    Quite. And Glasgow Rangers are one of the best teams in Europe.
    Glad you agree.What's so good about Daniels? He's rubbish and always has been. Boring as a face and as a heel, what he does in the ring rarely registers with me and never means anything.AJ is better than Daniels, granted, but I still don't think he's anything special. He can't talk to save himself, although I enjoyed him in TNA a lot more when he turned heel. Kind of revamped his character a bit.

    I've been playing Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 on the PS3, and to be honest I'm really disappointed. It's too easy to score against the computer, I think. Everyone knows superhuman goalkeepers are the future. Passing and first touches are a nightmare too. For example, if I'm knocking it about in midfield drawing people into tackles my passes generally go to the wrong guy, which wasn't a problem in any other year. As for first touches, if I'm taking a short corner or whatever and go to cut inside it usually just hits off the player and goes out of play. Craaap.

     

    They've improved aerial ability and crossing technique though, I feel. You're able to volley/header it a lot easier from crosses in normal play. Free-kicks have been improved a great deal too, and hitting the target is simple now. I've got about 4 or 5 Lampard free-kicks saved already.

     

    Online play is just as awful as everybody has said, I can't believe how poor it is. It's sluggish and half the time the ball is in two different places at once. To think it was actually worse than this before the patch, thank fuck I didn't have to experience that. Are they actually gonna fix it or is this is good as we're gonna get?

     

    I've also been playing Heavenly Sword. Great game, quality graphics and generally awesome gameplay, although it is a bit too hack and slash and easy to get through. The storyline is quite good though. It's short but that doesn't bother me too much because I've gotta get stuck into Assassins Creed and Call of Duty. Any opinions on them?
