Does anyone remember either or both sides of the story regarding why Shane Douglas and Francine fell out in ECW and didn't speak again until 2005?

I'm sure I have seen both of them tell their side of the story in shoot interviews over the years, but cannot remember the specifics.

Googling and searching YouTube has not come up with anything about it.

Was it linked to Douglas going to WCW and her expectation that he was going to get her a job there too? Instead she was left behind in ECW and she never got brought over.

I just tried to rebook my second appointment online, as it's scheduled for somewhere miles away, whereas the first one was just around the corner.

Going to the "manage my booking" bit of the NHS website, it just tried to make me book two new appointments, so I gave up halfway through. About half an hour later I got a text telling me that I had cancelled my second booking.

Now when I go on to try and rebook, it says that if you've already had your first that you only need to book the second, but gives me no means to do that. I don't know if it's because there's some process that they haven't gone through yet to recognise that I've had my first, or if the system just won't allow you to only book one appointment even though it tells you to.

I'll try again later/tomorrow to see if it works any better, but has anyone else had this?

I am in the same situation. Had my first jab last week and was due to have my second at a different location miles away (was the only option when I was booking).

I've now tried to cancel/change it but ended up not being able to book just a single appointment.

I'd be interested to hear if it gets sorted for you at all. I'm leaving it for a week or two hoping the system will update.

  3. A friend at work had been encouraging me to go on a date with one of his friend's daughters.

He showed me pictures and she looked very attractive, but it was hard to arrange a date as she was working long hours as a live-in nanny.

Eventually we met up at short notice and went for a coffee one evening. The coffee shop was closing shortly after we ordered, so she took her beverage out in a cardboard cup. Not ideal, but I thought we could have a stroll and chat before going to the pub.

As we walked out, she took a sip of her coffee only for the lid to come off and her to spill half of her drink over her beige blazer.

She laughed it off and we got her cleaned up. I agreed to drive her home so she could get changed and then we would go for a drink.

I had a low two seater car at the time and as she went to sit inside she smacked her head on the exterior roof with a loud bang. It immediately started swelling and then a trickle of blood rolled down her temple. She started crying and said she needed to go straight away.

I got her home and I asked if she wanted to try again another day, but she said she just wanted to get in to take some painkillers and rest (I took it as mensing she wasn't interested).

The following week at work my colleague ran over to speak to me. I assumed that he had heard what had happened on the date and he wanted to make fun of it. Instead,  he informed me that the girl had been picked up the previous day by immigration officers at her house and that everyone was blaming me on reporting her because the date hadn't gone well. I had no idea what he was on about, but couldn't convince him.

Months later I found out that it was well known that she had no paperwork and that they were trying to set me up with her to try and get her a spousal visa!

What kind of box am I looking at for a standard old WWF VHS from the early 90s? Thanks.

In terms of postage, if you sent it at the Post Office a single VHS in its case will be called a "small parcel" and cost £3.20 if sent second class or £4.20 if sent second class with "signature" proof that it was delivered. You'd need to factor this into your listing on ebay to cover the cost.

You can get postage cheaper by printing your own postage label at home if you have a printer or if you used a courier service.

To physically pack it, you could consider a bubblewrap lined envelope (can buy these in packs at a Pound Shop etc). If you want to send it in an actual box, you can buy various boxes at the Post Office or buy some online marketed as "small parcel" size near the dimensions of a VHS.

Alternatively you can use things you may already have at home (like shoe boxes, Amazon packaging etc)

Hi. I'm going to be selling some of my old grappling VHS's on Ebay. Just a question. How do I actually send them? Please talk me through the process. Thank you.

When you sell an item, you will get a notification from Ebay and PayPal saying that you have been paid and the address that it needs to be sent to.

Pack the item(s) that you have sold and address it accordingly.

Take the parcel to the Post Office or have it collected by a courier. Ensure you get proof that the parcel was posted/collected.

Mark on ebay that you have dispatched the item.

Sit back and enjoy the money and extra space.

I sell on ebay frequently, so feel free to DM me if you want to go through anything more.

  6. Not really on topic for this thread, but I was hoping one of you technology people can help me.

Do you know any alternative phrases for the process or ripping or copying all the images from a website?

I used to use a site many years ago that was full of galleries ripped from other pages or you could paste a URL and it would get all the pictures for you. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the site, but know it was partially named after the process. Thanks!

That idiot has had no military training at all.  You can tell because he’s got his fucking finger on the trigger whilst talking to the cops.  That’s hugely dangerous and one of the first things you are taught apparently.  Finger off the trigger at all times until you are about to fire.

I know I am being "that guy", but his fingers are not near the trigger, the trigger is higher above his thumb as you see the weapon hanging on the harness.

The guy has been identified as SF with a serving military wife who had her vehicle damaged earlier by some elements in the protest.

Yeah Savage is eliminated by Dusty quite a while before Warrior or Hulk get in.

It might have happened on a house show I suppose, but I feel like we'd have known about it. Plus, having them all on the same house show working together in those days feels like putting a lot of eggs in one basket.

Thanks both. I was struggling to find anything, so I think you confirmed things. Would have liked a photo of those 3 in the ring if it had existed anywhere.

  9. Can anyone let me know what the shows at the Cockpit are like?

I went to the Bristol show and wonder how it would compare to that? Do they use the same talent?

I'm debating whether to go up for a road trip to the Northampton show (lured by the poster more than anything else) or try one of the March Cockpit shows instead. Thanks

@KRS how did you find it?

Pretty decent show overall for me. I was physically disappointed when I heard Ospreay and Yuu weren't going to be performing, as they were the reasons I bought a ticket, but I think everyone's performances made up for it. The men's tag match, the Great O Kharn's bout and the main event were worth the ticket price.

I was upstairs and stayed on the balcony for the whole show and liked the venue. Will probably try another show after High Stakes.

    Did you go too?

Motion in Bristol is a music venue, looks like a warehouse on Google. I imagine it'll be a few rows around the ring and standing around that, like say Fight Club Pro in Wolverhampton

Thanks for that. I have gone for a standing ticket so will give it a shot. Mainly going to see Ospreay and YUU

  12. Completely random question, no idea if anyone can possibly answer it but..........

On the Taz WWE entrance theme "Just another Victim" right at the end they splice in a load of old ECW audio clips and the final one is Taz declaring "Hey, I'm gonna get a little (SOMETHING) in this son of a bitch, tonight, right now, falls count anywhere in the building!"

Does anyone have even the faintest idea what the missing word might be? It's a silly thing to lose sleep over but every time i'm in the gym and it comes on the ipod I can't help but wonder!

    "Little lethal"?

  13. Can anyone tell me if Kai En Tai started doing their dubbed voices gimmick once only for The Undertaker's voice to be heard? I have shady memories of something like this happening but can't find it on youtube or similar...
