  1. IIRC there was a story on one of the Percy Pringle/Paul Bearer shoots about when he was with Taker and he had the huge urn with the torch in it.

Apparently he had to go and get a travel case to take it round with him everywhere, i'm sure he said it weighed about 20-25lbs with the batteries in it.

  2. Good news is i've been the dreaded Bronchitis so will be adding some new articles by the lads to the site over the course of the week.

Glad to hear you are better, was wondering why my article had not been put up.

Thanks mate. Just seen the Indy Car crash and hope DF makes a speedy recovery, can someone fill me in on when the cars became so "futuristic" looking?

  3. There is something extremely disturbing about the whole Fake Taxi series. They do get some really hot girls in to do them, though.

This reminds me of a ridiculously random thought that entered my head the other day. I was watching Pointless and Xander was doing his usual thing of asking the contestants "so, how did you meet?" and suddenly my brain envisaged the bloke answering "We actually met on the BangBus." The room was a bit confused as to why I was curled up laughing ostensibly at hearing "so, how did you meet?" and no doubt thought I'd lost my mind.

There used to be a series called Bang Bus where they would pick women up who were walking round the streets and such. Now some of the ones I saw of them were quite worrying.

  4. Was the Xperia Play an abject failure? The slide-out PlayStation controller makes it the best phone for gaming I can conceive of, but the guts of it aren't brilliant and it's a few years old now. Plus the screen on mine's half-knackered. They didn't stick with the controller in any newer phones, did they?

Erm, sort of. Sony has made an attachment of sorts that clips to the bottom of the some of the Xperia range of phones that works as a controld pad. I know the Xperia Z can be attached to a PS3 controller.

  5. Try going into the settings and then accounts and un-syncing your Google contacts.

Let me know how it goes for you.

Phones i'll be trying this month:

Acer Liquid E2 = 4.5 inch screen, 1.2 Ghz quad core processor and 8 MP camera,Running Android 4.2.1.(Looking forward to this as Acer make good laptops and the tech should transfer to phones. This is the first Acer phone to be picked up by a UK network, 3 in this case)

Nokia Lumia 1020 = 41MP camera, Windows 8 Phone OS. This is Nokia's big hope for 2013, some have said the Nokia brand could flourish or die with this phone.

I'll be putting some reviews up of them.

But for now go and read about Samsung going all retro on the mobile world and doing a flip, dual screen mobile Clicky
