  1. It was after the 22.04.02 Raw went off the air. Here's a fan account, as posted on LordsofPain.net:

After Raw went off the air, the nWo and its newest member, The Big Show, continued to beatdown Steve Austin. Eventually, Hulk Hogan ran in to aid Austin and cleared the ring. Once the ring was down to just Hogan and Austin, however, Austin gave the WWF Champion the "stunner" to a huge pop. At that point, Austin celebrated with beer to the crowd's delight, as Hogan staggered to his feet. This time, Austin celebrated alongside Hogan as the two toasted with numerous (and I mean NUMEROUS beers). I have seen Austin do this off-camera routine before with others (The Rock, Undertaker, Kane, etc), and Hogan is the first that I have seen actually take the time to drink the beer, rather than spill it all over himself much like Austin and everyone else who is tossed a beer. Eventually, Austin left, leaving Hogan by himself, but Austin again returned, and the two continued drinking beer. Austin included Earl Hebner and Jim Ross in the ceremonies this time. Earl actually climbed the turnbuckle and toasted the crowd. Austin then left, again leaving Hogan by himself. Hogan spent a great deal of the time doing his traditional poses, and then took a page out of Austin's book by giving the crowd the middle finger salute, oddly enough.
  2. Anybody know where I can order Region 1 WWE DVDs from a UK outlet?

I'm after the new Shawn Michaels DVD, but without the US waiting times and/or shipping costs. I've tried PlayUSA.com, but it's out of stock. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Froogle is your friend:

    Shawn DVD

    If not try PWtorrents

    Thank you, much appreciated.

  4. I fully support the BNP. I'm not xenophobic in the slightest, but I do feel that England is losing its heritage due to the high levels of immigrants, many of which don't even speak English, and many of which want us to make adaptations to our culture to make them feel more at home.

The BNP immigration policies detailed on its website make for interesting reading. The country is already bursting at the seams as it is, and really needs more careful border control. Deporting the two million who are currently here illegally is essential.

  5. From Jericho's Twitter..

After working in the WWE for ten years I wrestled the Undertaker for the first time ever tonight. A true legend and a great experience.

Surely can't be the first time they've grappled?

Not sure of the date, but on an episode of Smackdown during the attitude era, there was a fatal four way; Undertaker Vs Chris Jericho Vs Kane Vs Chris Benoit

I'd assume that Jericho means in a singles match. And he'd know too - doesn't he keep a log of every single one of his matches? Thinking back (for quite some time), I honestly can't think of a time they've had a match, so he could well be right.

Seems ridiculous that there's a fresh, ready-made feud in Jericho vs. The Undertaker, and yet we'll still be lumbered with Cena/Orton/Triple H for until the end of time.

  6. The Michaels/Flair match really did nothing for me at all. It started off slow, and never really amounted to anything. In addition, there was never a doubt in my mind as to the result, and Flair didn't even portray himself as much of a threat on the night. It was all about Flair (and rightly so), but I'm used to Wrestlemania being all about Michaels - and this was one year when that wasn't to be the case.

  7. Why is it so hard to believe that Michaels is broke? Ric Flair was legitimately broke, and nobody seemed to have any problems comprehending that.

In fact, wrestlers have a huge reputation for blowing wads of cash on alcohol and the like - with Michaels' background, I can't think of anyone more apt to undertake this storyline leading up to Wrestlemania...

  8. Who holds the record for most matches wrestled at WWF/E pay-per-views? I'm guessing that the top three would be The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Triple H (in that order), but if anybody has some cold hard stats, it'd be much appreciated,

  9. Right, as I tend to do lately, I have a vague moment in my head and it's annoying me trying to reember more about it. On Raw, about 2003/4 I'd say, someone had handcuffed HBK to the ropes and were taunting him with the keys. HBK him em with SCM and used the keys to release himself, then jumped into the ring to batter someone.I think it was when he was feuding with Jericho/Christian, but not 100% sure. Does anyone know the storyline/angle?EDIT: Nevermind, I've found out what I was thinking of.

If anyone else was interested, the match in question took place on Feb-17, 2003. Michaels and Jeff Hardy defeated Chris Jericho and Christian, when Hardy pinned Jericho @ 07:19. This was only HBK's second match since returning from his four-year layoff, and his first tag team match on Raw since Dec-15, 1997.
    Eh?
An error has occured! It should read: "This was only HBK's second match on Raw since returning from his four-year layoff".It's still not really interesting, but at least it's correct.
