  1. Rather obscure question here. About themes songs from the UK scene in the late 90's.

Came across Spawn (I was shopping and bored) and I came across 'One Man Army' by the Prodigy which was Mark Sloan's entrance theme for the first year and half in the FWA.

Then I remembered that I had previously been trying to find out the name of the theme that Alex Shane and Guy Thuner/Leon Murphy used when they first arrived in the FWA. I never did find out.

Does anyone know what it was?

    Thanks

My theme was an actual instrumental of that track found on a rare ep.

Alex and Guy used to use a song I think it was called food for your brain by One Minute Silence - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4cMcW8zPTg and dirpy.com are your best friends in this instance

  2. I just heard a rumour that the police have had to follow up a complaint made against our own Benny for putting her son on The Shit List.

I shouldn't say who it is (nor should I have to really) but I will say his name rhymes with Smurf Braffiti.

Yeah because that will make promoters want to book him. That's the worst thing he could have done for himself right there.

I am sure it is just a rib, there is no way that is for real

    Are you serious?

  4. I tried to search, but apparently I need to search more than 4 characters.

Just a few questions about some of the first companies I saw live.

Are LDN and UKPW still going? Also, does anyone know the website for All-Star Wrestling?

    Thanks

    Yes, Yes, www.bigtimewrestlinguk.com

  5. Has the UKFF been advertised somewhere recently? There appears to be an influx of new members, and some truely awful posters amongst them.

yes i'm new, i only logged on here to try and trace an event held on 16 th jan. I'm new to the scene, so might ask some stupid questions, but any help is appreciated.

Where was the show? The town and venue would help a lot more than the colour of the ring.

Yes it would make things a lot easier but unfortunatly i dont know the location other than approx an hours drive from st neots in cambridgeshire which makes it bucks, beds, cambs area.

Was on sat 16th jan, and had mens and womens matches, but other than that dont know a great deal more i'm afriad.

Good man, you've put him out of his misery :)

Perhaps he was blindfolded and abducted

Welcome to the forum mate, hope you enjoyed the show. Premier are bloody good.

He didn't go. It was his other half slightly tipsy.

Aparently they let her into the ring to do moves on her during the intermission. It is a guarantee that didn't happen at Premier Promotions.

  7. Broxbourne has a capacity of 350 or so. Broxbourne FWA shows draw 300-350+.Colston Hall has a capacity of a couple of thousand, and draw 200ish. Do you see?

I beg to differ with both of these points, Mr Moj.Firstly , The Broxbourne Civic Centre Can Hold around 550 people with our set up, that includes people on the stage. I can let you know that when we moved on to Sectional Seating we lost around 70 Chairs. So at worst it can hold 450 seats with the FWA set up. I think you can ask an unbiased Strong Style About that, I believe his first show was over 500 as I recall.Colston Hall is a huge Venue, with only 150 fans it would be very sparse indeed. Last time a worked there, a few months back I would say there was 300-350 in there and they were pretty loud and a fairly decent crowd (the American Dragon/Storm ladder match was awesomely loud)The other thing I would point out, because a fan of the FWA is critical of other promotions, maybe blindly critical in some cases, why do you same guys feel the need to slag of the FWA itself? Its very hypocitial to be honest. Anyway......
