I'm getting the "WWE Network video content is currently only available for viewing within the United States" error message on the live stream, but it's loading on-demand content no bother. I hope this isn't the case come WrestleMania.

 

Are you using Hola Unblocker? I've changed the server location to an alternative US server and the live stream works again.

Nope, Unblock-Us. Video on the US MTV and Comedy Central sites still plays fine, and the on-demand on the WWE network, but not the live stream.

 

Edit: The on-demand section on the network is doing the same thing now.

Might be worth switching to Hola just to see if that works for you? I'm watching now so I can confirm it works, at least from where I'm sitting.

Hola Unblocker seems to come and go as far as working, so it's not necessarily anything to do with the site.

Switching the server location to an alternative US proxy works for me.

I got a $9.99 PayPal refund at exactly midday and the WWE Network (using Hola unblocker via Torch browser) is now saying "WWE Network video content is currently only available for viewing within the United States." and then redirects me to WWE.com. Fuck!

 

EDIT: And now it's streaming fine again, so who knows?

I had that, then I refreshed, and it worked.

If they tighten up then they better refund. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't though, ultimately we're the ones who lied about our location.

WWE have lucked out with Renee Young. Not only is she incredibly cute, but she's also the most natural interviewer they've had for a long time. I think I'm in love.

 

How have they lucked out? She was a (wrestling) chat show host in Canada when they signed her, not exactly the usual incoherent models they sign to interview.

Almost every interviewer they sign comes across as stilted, unnatural and wooden, whether they be from a wrestling background or not. They have a knack for hiring cheesy, wooden interviewers.

Just seems an odd choice for an 'Only Connect' puzzle in what I assume is The Guardian or another broadsheet?

Not so much because it's wrestling, more because they've gone with 'Tough Enough' and 'NXT'? Neither of which are one word. I'm not exactly familiar with the Only Connect format (although I should be, Vicky Coren is gorgeous) so perhaps you can have brand names/names/phrases etc.

EDIT: Rewatching the NXT Arrival show on the network, and only just realised they're using the new WWE logo on the turnbuckles. I really like it. That logo's been needing an update for a decade.

Is that real?

No Main Event? I'm sure I saw an up-to-date episode of Main Event on the Network last week?

I would ABSOLUTELY sign up if this was something I can get via the internet on my PC, TV, tablet and phone. I don't watch any actual TV any more. In fact, if this was only available to me as a TV subscription service I wouldn't bother.

Those predictions make interesting reading. Like any predictions, some are spot on...

I'm going to promise you guys something:

 

Barring any career-ending injuries, John Cena is going to be the new Rocky by WM 25. That guy has so much undiscovered ability and they haven't pushed him down our throats ala Lesnar who climbed to the top of the mountain before he actually got over (as a babyface, even.)

 

Linda, Hunter, and JR can go on about Randy Orton all the fuck they want. I guarantee Cena will be massive in a few years.

And some not so much...

I don't think Jericho will be at WM XXX, I think he will know when it is time to step out and won't have an ego keeping him there. Unless he doesn't actually get worse over time...

 

I think a fair few will remain, although it is impossible to predict who. We can dream though.

 

What are the odds of some form of porn or at least full-fledged nudity at XXX. It almost wouldn't be complete without it.

 

And WMXXX will more than likely be at the Garden.

That's great, thanks. There doesn't seem to be many out of character interviews these days from contracted wrestlers.

WWE will do whatever draws at Wrestlemania. I believe they will go with Sting vs Undertaker over another match with Kane, no matter how they have to book it. Wrestlemania might be lacking a big, iconic match at this rate. If Sting is available what would you rather go with at Wrestlemania? Nobody gives a fuck about another Kane/Undertaker match.
