  1. Went to the show at the London Cockpit at the weekend.

Really intimate venue which reminded me of the Civic Hall at Broxbourne.

    The highlights for me were:

Rev Pro pushing new talent. One of my concerns last year with the promotion was that it didn't feel like Rev Pro were pushing their own guys but with Jake Mccluskey, Josh Bodom, Flyin Ryan, James Castle and Gideon Grey getting showcased for the second consecutive week it seems like they've addressed this issue.

Seeing Big Damo make his Rev Pro Debut. I always thought if we saw him wrestling in London away from ICW it would be in Progress not Rev Pro

Jimmy Havoc winning the 6 man scramble opener setting up a title match with Will Osperay

Seeing Progress team mates Mark Haskins and Sha Samuels clash with a suprising finish.

Will Osperay showing again why he is one of the hottest talents in the UK by wrestling a very solid main event with Rocky Romero.

Only negative was no Sumerian Death Squad, as I was really looking forward to seeing them take on 2 unlimited

  2. If i'm not mistaken the tickets for ENDVR7 at the start of November will go on sale tomorrow with an early discount for people purchasing in advance.

Would really recommend the ENDVR shows: The last 2 shows i've attended have had some really good matches and the Sunday lunches at the Bedford are excellent.

  3. Looks like the final card has been announced for tomorrow's show down in Balham:

    • Progress Champion Jimmy Havoc and Paul Robinson vs. Will Osperay and Joey Lakeside
    • Darrell Allen vs. Damon Moser (No DQ)
    • Xander Cooper vs. Ali Armstrong
    • Pastor William Eaver vs. one half of the Progress Tag Team Champions, Eddie Dennis
    • The Omega vs. Mark Hendry
    • Steve Burden vs. Jack Jameson (DG USA superstar)
    • Rhia O'Reilly vs. Pollyanna (Special Guest Referee: Rough House Rosie Leigh)
    • Tom Irvin addresses the crowd

Sounds like there's only a few tickets left and looks a very good ENDVR show!

  4. Have worked my way through Nitro episodes 92-95 before watching Superbrawl 1995 this morning.

Really enjoyed Superbrawl 1995. Perhaps moreso than when I watched it originally back in the day.

Now on Nitro episode 96 which incidentally is the first episode of 1996. Have to say the episodes are very tight and its great to see Regal, Guerrero, Malenko and Benoit wrestling some super matches.

In fact did Regal and Benoit ever have a bad match with each other? Their match on episode 96 was short but ever so sweet.

You can tell that WCW had something special with the one hour nitro format and was a company on the up at the time. Even Lex Luger seemed to be motivated.

  5. The positives for me were seeing talented British cruiserweights like Zebra Kid, Doug Williams, Jodie Fleisch, and Jonny Storm have epic matches with guys like AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and American Dragon.I also thought that the pushes of Burchill and Hampton Court were excellent. Nikita also had better matches than she did in WWE or TNA imo.I never really got into the Family or Jack Xavier pushes and always thought it was a shame that Mark Sloan and Stevie Knight were used so sparingly. But, did an FWA show ever start on time? And where did James Tighe disappear to?

  6. The transformation of Simon Diamond to 'Irish' Pat Kenney in NWATNA.The defacating of the Carnage Crew's bags in ROH.The dissolution of the Family within the FWAThe initial push of MordecaiThe Diva Search and Tough EnoughThe concrete crypt angle involving Paul Bearer.Jeff Jarrett's NWA World Title Reign.
