Why is that surprising? None of the product is aimed at children, you've got idiots stabbing each other in the head with screwdrivers on TV every week.

Because that's only one aspect of the show. You have people like Darby Allen, Orange Cassidy, Sting, etc who I would've thought would do quite well in that market.

  2. Does anyone know where I can purchase kids' size t-shirts for this event?; I was looking to try and get one for my 7 year old but looking on the official sites, they surprisingly don't seem to cater for that market.

I thought that died out on the N64. Why would a wrestling game be multilayer?

I used to love  playing with my friends as part of a tag team or doing the royal rumble. I am talking probably 2 decades ago now though and apparently the cool thing is to all be in separate rooms or houses and just each buy their own copy and play on their own screen. I'm just an old grump now.

  4. Because I'm out of touch with gaming these days, does this support multilayer on a single screen for up to 4 players? I'd like to think it would but can't find anything to confirm it online, just multilayer via online.

    Excellent choice.

I was considering some roll and writes and smaller games but pub being pub I'd rather get ones with plastic boards and dry wipe pens rather than sheets and pencils. I also completely forgot the name of Railroad Ink or that would have been on the list!

You can download scoresheeys for games like qwixx, qwinto, railroad ink, yahtzee etc and just laminate them. I did it the cheap way and bought a load of different coloured die from China for about a fiver then just downloaded and laminated the score sheets. They're readily available on bgg

So my new boss has decided that she wants the pub to have a board game collection and has asked me to compile a list of games for the initial buy in. She reckons we can get about £300 initially to buy stuff for a collection of Hobby Games to put behind the bar. I came up with a vague collection starter list. Have I dropped any bollocks here and have you folks got any ideas?

Azul, Ultimate Werewolf, Klask, Horrified, King of Tokyo, Fort, Unmatched, Betrayal at the House on the Hill, Kingdomino or Patchwork, Sushi Go/Party/Roll.

If its for a pub, as great as klask is, I'd be cautious as the pieces will fly everywhere! I'd be looking at small tabletop / card games. Dobble, dominoes, a good quality plastic set of playing cards, Quirkle if you have the table space. Also some dice games / roll and write like Qwinto,  Ganz schon clever (that's pretty clever), perudo and even the classic yahtzee would be ideal in a pub. Resistance is also a fantastic game but if you've got werewolf then you might not need both. Just be prepared that any games are likely to get drinks spilled on them (I'm looking at dobble!) So wooden / dice / plastic cards may be worth looking at.

Oh, Drop it is also a fantastic game suitable for any age.

How so? I didn't pick up on that.

Proper licensed music always makes wrestlers feel more big time and it's a great song so I enjoyed it.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but apart from it being a class song, lyrically, it seems very apt such as "there'll be peace when you are done" and "don't you cry no more"

    Just doesn't seem coincidental..

I did mine in the microwave.

Same. So glad I did as well after hearing the commotion and stress my wife was going through with the kids trying to make theirs!

Considering my wife and I have known each other for around 15 years, we generally have everything we could want / need, This was the only present present I received from her and I think its incredible. Made even better knowing that I saw it in a shop a couple of weeks ago and told her how awesome it was, not knowing that she already had it at home waiting to gift it to me.

  10. Similar to Mr Danger, I have a policy through work with Unum. I imagine each company is different but if you're able to obtain dental insurance I'd definitely recommend it. I have pretty shit teeth so I end up having to go to the dentist every 3 / 4 months. I pay a fiver a month for the insurance and that covers up to band 3 NHS. I've probably saved about £600 over the past 5 years of having it.

  11. Every now and again (once a month or so) ill fast for 24 hours. Only started doing it as a guy I worked with did it every Thursday and highly recommended it. Not really noticed any results from it (to be honest I'm not doing it regularly enough to warrant results i imagine) but it does feel pretty good knowing you can get your body to do it. A bit like taking cold showers i guess for me. More of a mental than physical benefit.
