    QUOTE (dopper @ Dec 26 2008, 22:49)

I just watched the Unrated version of 'Hancock' and was surprised to see there was a sex scene, which wasn't shown in cinemas.

It revolved around the fact that he was reluctant to nail this girl that was flirting with him because if he spurted into or onto her it would be forceful enough to fire a hole through her.

I'm watching the extras now and am hoping to hear that this idea was based on the conversion between Brody & T.S. in 'Mallrats' in which they discussed why Superman couldn't have sex with human women. Very similar premises.

Turned out the 5 minute sex scene is the only noticable difference to the version I saw at the cinema.

Prepare to be disappointed; that's from the book that it's (very loosely) based on..

The original premise/script was called: "Tonight, he cums". No wonder it took so long to get made.

    Lots of spoilers below....

Saw The Day the Earth Stood Still last week. Very poor. The whole thing seemed to have no point... aliens arrive, cute kid gets scared, turns out its just Ted Logan ESQ. He mopes around a bit, mentions in passing that he might destroy the world. For some reason the Yanks capture part of the spaceship, which turns into insects. Reeves meets Basil Fawlty, they blabber on a bit about humans being alright and stuff. Cute kid cries about dead dad. Reeves stops insects and goes home. Bag 'o shite.

Saw The Edge of Love last night. I liked Atonement so thought it was might be an easy going watch. Instead, it bored me to tears. I failed to grasp the whole point of it, and the actors couldn't even rise to Neighbours actors standards for any bit that would be deemed dramatic, and thats being kind, and the direction and script were beyond drab. I really fail to see who the film is aimed it, as its so fucking boring.

Watched three flicks this afternoon... first up Teeth, which stretched a pretty lacklustre premise into a 90 minute feature which tried to convey some form of message, which very much got lost when a dog ate someones cock, which has been chewed off by a fanny with teeth during sex. Uh huh.

Next up was Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer. It couldn't decide whether this was meant to be a parody or was just shit. Instead, the only highlights were the beyond bad special effects/make up, which would have looked shit 30 years ago, and Robert Englund whoring himself out, looking rather like Salman Rusdie.

Finally there was British low budget horror: Mum and Dad. A neat little film, which had some pretty engaging moments. Some of the plot was a bit half baked, in particular scenes that involved previous captures, and there isnt much here if you wanted Saw style gore. Though any film that has a guy wanking into a piece of flesh before eating it for breakfast the next day, is certainly orginal. Well worth a watch.

  2. From a quick look at my Sky Plus planner....Breaking Bad... looks very good, a different idea and very funny so far. In a twisted kinda way.The Restuarant... contestants aren't as good as last year, but still a fine reality programme. Far funnier and supperior to the likes of Big Brother.BlackAdder specials. Really enjoying these.Never Mind the Buzzcocks, can't say I miss Bill Baily but Mark Ronson was dire. Will hopefully pick up.The Riches.... shame it was axed, Eddie Izzard was fantastic in this.Jamies Ministry of Food... More of what you'd expect. But I cant help but like Mr Oliver. The Daily Show.... With the US elecction forthcoming this show is funnier than ever, and thats saying something.FoneJacker... more miss than hit than the last series, but still v funny.Sunshine... best drama I've seen in two/three years. Very good.Ultimate Fighter.... They seem to have picked a lot of jackasses this year to make up for the fact that the coaches have no personality. The rest is made up of usual stuff... wrestling, Neighbours (~), and football.

  3. What I liked about Juno... her parents played their roles well and didn't over play everything, it didn't drag on, Jennifer Garner was actually good for once, Michael Cera played George Michael Bluth again, Jason Bateman is awesome. What I didn't like, oh erm, this outta sort it out:

Mr. Seven Posted Today, 09:56 PM You want to have an infatuation? What's stopping you? Maybe it's her unbearable smugness or general cuntish features? God that film made my blood boil. Oh look it's a kooky indie song! Oh look, it's another one! Woo this soundtrack like, understands me man.

Ellen Page totally ruined the whole film for me. She was shite in Hard Candy and even wose than this. When she was cracking onto Bateman I wanted Garner to come home and crack her in the cunt for being such a boyish know it all pain the fucking arse. I have a burger for a phone aint I not mainstream. Fuck off.Overall though, not a bad flick :)I watched Dude Wheres my Car last night. Wasnt as good sober. Watched Mean Streets last week, that was brilliant as ever. Though always makes me wonder why De Niro went onto greatness whilst Harvey Keitel (sans anything he did with Tarrantino) just turned up in paycheck movies. Yes, I know that DeNiro went this way too.

What I'm chatting shit because I don't work for MI5? As I've said with the job I've got, I've got to be anonymous (especially with the reputation I've got on here). It's not a special job by any means or secretive, I just need to project my reputaion as I facilitate and delegate alot.

    Gauntely, is that you?
