  1. Feyenoord defender and Dutch international Tyrell Malacia is Manchester United bound for about 15 million Euro ... And Feyenoord striker and Columbian international Sinistera is about to sign witb Leeds United, according to news over here in the Netherlands for between 20 and 30 million Euro, setting a new outgoing transfer record for Feyenoord. (a record previously held by Dirk Kuijt when he signed with Liverpool).

With Guus Til (who was on loan from Spartak Moscow) now singing with PSV Eindhoven, thats 3 of the starting line players now gone... All 3 also started in the Conference League Final...

Had a last minute trip to Brixton yesterday. Saw Edo G and Fokis, and Large Pro. It was fucking great. The Chip Shop is such a brilliant venue. It's tiny, and there's no stage at all. Seeing Large Pro spitting two feet away from me was quite the experience, especially for a gig I didn't even know about until Monday and wasn't sure I could attend until yesterday afternoon.

Also he's a lot shorter than I thought he would be.

I once saw EPMD perform live here in Rotterdam at the Watt Basement, a former venue over here... There were maybe about 50 people in the crowd if I remember correctly... Mostly white guys... The Basement was also tiny, with a small stage, which was only about 20 cm higher than the floor... So they also performed among the crowd in stead of the podium...

I still remember how sad I not a lot of people showed up for the show... But thats because I'm biased as a huge EPMD fan...

  3. I believe the same thing happened to Adam Driver and his wive! Reylo fans who send messages to Driver's wive she didn't deserve him, wasn't handsome enough, and Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley should be together because they worshiped Rey & Kylo in Star Wars... Some fans are totally out of their mins and shouldn't be allowed to post on the Internet!

Its on Spotify though... So looks like its a license thing and not about copyright laws...

I own the original CD so no problem here...

It was also reissued with bonus tracks some years ago...

Oh wait... just checked... its no longer on Spotify too..

Ah, Live and Let Die is not on Tidal! Another victim of the copyright laws I assume. A shame if its that good, too.

Yeah I thought it was surprising the amount of people still applauding him as he walked out

Why? You just have to keep in mind that the majority of the people who attend the WWE shows (besides being kids) just aren't as aware about what's going on behind the scenes, as we are, and don't know whats happening most of the times! They just follow the shows on TV and attend the shows when they are local! They aren't as obsessed with wrestling as we are and visit all the dirtsheets for the latest news and such... (ANd yes I know the main stream media has picked up on the news, but not with extensive covarage!).

It's the same reason why those people still enjoy watching the tv shows and attending the live shows... Unlike us...

Spent the day at work re-listening to a bunch of "golden era" hip hop records and I've come to a couple of - possibly unpopular - conclusions:

    1. RZA is overrated as a producer. I mean, he's fine, but he's also nothing special.
    2. Havoc is underrated as a producer. His drum sound is ace.
    3. J Dilla is still the GOAT. Especially his work on Slum Village Vol.2

I'm not saying you are wrong... But I totally disagree with your opinion! RZA was responsable for a whole new gritty sound which dominated especially the New York scene in the 90s... Often dupilcated and imitated... Included by his own Wu-Clones like RNS, True Master and 4th Disciple among others...

I agree he ain't the greatest MC though...

Looking for some recommendations. Tidal suggested 4,5,6 by Kool G Rap a few weeks back. Have listened to it plenty since, and really enjoyed. Tried a few of his albums before and after this one, but not really felt the need to relisten to them. Any suggestions as to what else to listen to from him, or others similar to this timeframe and style? They suggested Jeru The Damaja who Ive been enjoying, as well.

Live And Let Die >>> 4,5,6 but thats my personal opinion...

Even funnier when you think of how she did all that parkour to try and get to Kenobi on the rooftop in the prior episode and somehow still missed him. Yet here, no problem.

Also: wasn't Leia somewhat skeptical of the Force being a thing in ANH? I haven't watched it in years but, if she was, that doesn't make much sense now.

I think you are confusing Leia with Han...

Another fun TV show. Light on the fanwank thankfully though still hard to resist (Luke's toy speeder, oblique references to Sabine, Inquisitor guff) but Ewan totally nails it in every scene. Such a great presence. His interaction with the Jawa being told he stunk was my favourite.

Probably doesn't need a spoiler tag from this point on but it helps remind people this just... dropped.

    Spoiler

I think you mean Satine (Bo-Katan's sister and Obi-Wan's love interest in Clone Wars! (Sabine is de Mando-character from Rebels who as far as I remember never had any interaction with Obi-Wan!)

And while we at it... Was he thinking about Satine at that moment? Or about Padme? I think Padme makes more sense since it was Leia, her daughter, who reminded him!

I think that's the most likely reason for them not granting his release. I can only imagine what they pitched him, and they'll likely want to wait until the situation has calmed down, to try smooth things over and kill, potentially, a highly negative story that could have broken on the same week that they trademarked the name of a Nazi commander.

He's American, and his dad is from Pakistan.

Yeah and Rey Mysterio is also an American... Doesn't stop them from using him as a Mexican...

Trailer for Home Sweet Home Alone has been released, with Aisling Bea seemingly changing accents midway through.

A Disney+ Original Movie? Looks more like a remake then a new take...

Has WWE ever successfully marketed a 2nd generation star? people like Rock and Orton don't count imo because the majority of fans wouldn't be familiar with their fathers work (they are pre 'wwf')

    Charlotte?
