I don't know. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn made a living for a good few years shitting on him, saying some awful stuff, and even making physical threats and he took good care of them. And that was with no "best for business" intentions of making big money off them.
His buddies from DX?

Punk wouldn't call. He has no time for Triple H.Ā

Why on earth would WWE reach out to Pepsiman?

Are you suggesting that fans hold wrestlers and indeed companies and their owners to different standards depending on if they like them? Surely not.Ā
ĀOne of the big plus points for AEW when they launched was how they said they werenāt like other companies, they had proper structure and healthcare, they were progressive and not of the old āPay your dues and know your placeā mentality. What with the nonces, the politicking and the hierarchy it seems they arenāt all that different after all.Ā
The fact, they made a point to say that should have been a red flag. Let your actions speak. You're progressive? Show us! Don't just tell us you are.

On the unlikely chance they can all settle their differences backstage but run this on TV as a feud you could have some cracking telly. The Elite vs Punk, he brings his mates FTR and Samoa Joe in as backup, the BCC and JAS get involved. Full on faction warfare for dominanceĀ of AEW and six-nine months of matches and stories.
In reality this situation could end up destroying the company but hey, it's a nice thought.
your idea could happen AND still it could kill the company.Ā

I mean that has to be someone here right? If it had ended with Tony walking to a chippy and finding Gangrel outside eating crisps then it could've been the best tweet ever.
What does Tony get from the chippy, what we reckon lads?

What a ridiculous bump to take. Are some of these guys idiots and that's why they take risks like that? Or are they idiots now because they have taken risks like that?Ā

I'm confused. Should Punk be more worried about Omega, K or Omega 3?
Maybe that's why he's such a moody cunt. He's not getting his daily vitamins.

Little bottom feeder trying to lure Punk into deep water. Punk would batter him but don't think he'd be baited into a fight on such a small scale.Ā

Punk couldn't batter a sausage. Bobby wouldn't fare much better

Apparently Bobby Fish has challenged Punk to a MMA fight

Punk's main appeal was that he was so different to what else was in WWE at the time. Do I think he would have the same success, popularity and impact that he had if he'd have been doing it 10 years later? Absolutely not.
His success was more about timing and opportunity than unreal ability.
People saying he's the biggest star in AEW is way off the mark for me, Jericho is a much bigger star than Punk for starters.
I really wish it was a storyline because one time renegade upstart rebel CM Punk becoming everything he hated and stood against and wanting to shit on the new wave would be a fantastic story arc built back from day 1 in the company saying hes back for the fans etc.Ā
If the story was Punk has turned into an egotistical, self obsessed twat it would be very entertaining rather than the reality of its just becoming increasingly apparent thats the reality.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think AEW needs him. I think Tony Khan thinks they need him, and that'll be his downfall. A 44 year old Punk who is even slower than he was, is lame. He's not a rebel anymore. Not when he's sitting next to the boss who is laughing at his shitty banter.
-
I'd expect khan to be a boss but perhaps I'm expecting too much from him.

This is the first time I've seen this clip from the presser and I'm not sure if this is before or after the Punk thing so he could be a little rattled off the back of it, but it seems like he's losing it. Apparently, he's not happy with the amount of shows being run this weekend all over the place.
Ā
Christ he looks unhinged at the end. Looking around

Meltzer and SRS etc aren't gonna risk their rep to appease a few neckbeards on twitter. I believe him when he says this is not a work.
