  1. http://users.boardnation.com/~thesell/inde...=2041;start=120Now officially the most retarded thread online.I'm getting the first flight back to the UK

It's wrestling! It has to be a work! They're working NBC ;)
The side-effect of all these Russo-esque worked 'shoot' angles is that some fans seem to have become so conditioned to expecting everything to be a work. If this were some kind of PR stunt, then I don't think *this* kind of publicity would benefit RF/ROH...

OK, pardon my scepticism here, but I think the whole thing is another elaborate work.Just coincidence that these rumors about Fennstein had been floating around for years? That the guy caught wasn't out of the blue, like say, Jerry Jarrett or whatever.Fennstein's never been able to shake the gay rumours, even after "dating" Missy Hyatt, why not make an angle about it? I mean is it no coincidence that the webmaster of perverted-justice.com used to write for rajahwwf.com? That this is the first time that ROH has been mentioned on Rajah? They get coverage on NBC, hell, I bet you their next crowd will be bigger than their last show, simply due to people wanting to come with witty signs with jokes on them like the ones you guys have "made" on here in the last few pages. And why is his car constantly referred to as "the 70k Lexus"???? Normally it's referred to as a "2001 Lexus" or whatever, you never hear "the suspect drove away in a $500 Toyota Corolla he purchased at a wreckers..."And once the whole "ordeal" is over, guess who you're all going to buy the shoot interview from. You stupid fucking sheep.

The truth is I'm sure there are people who would buy this.
  2. Wow...Spent this week away from the internet and I miss *this*.Will post some thoughts when I'm more awake (and when I've finished reading the damn thing!) Not sure what I can add to a twenty eight page thread (and I've a feeling this is just going to get bigger) other than I find the whole situation repulsive.

  3. Wrestler of 2003: Eddie Guerrero with 32.38% of votesRunner up: Shawn Michaels with 29.52% of votesTag Team of 2003: Los Guerreros with 43.69% of votesRunner's up: Worlds Greatest Tag Team with 41.75% of votes

Although I don't agree with all the awards, it is good to see Eddie (and Chavo Jr. for that matter) recieve the praise he deserves. Well done to Terje, Lister, Draz, Bagga and everyone else who won!
  4. Scott Steiner :laugh::laugh: Just about everything he did from slipping off the ropes at Royal Rumble to the matc itself to his 'plancha' at the start of his match at Badd Blood made it impossible fr me to keep a straight face during his matches.

  5. Chris Jericho - was a heel for the whole twelve months and his stuff with Michaels and then Austin effectively stopped Raw from being unwatchable some weeks.

Yep same here Y2J, for the reasons above...
  6. By far and away the funniest thing was their own self-importance.  Doing things to entertain the crowd?!?!?!  5 people constitutes a "crowd" these days!

Well, two people constitutes a 'Federation' :alien::crazy::alien: ...

Can 5 or 6 people mention my name so I can be called a legend?

  7. Trying to narrow down the top ten wrestlers since 1980; and it's pretty damn difficult (there have been so many great wrestlers  ), ten of the guys I would include however... Ric FlairRandy SavageRicky SteamboatToshiaki KawadaBret HartMitsuharu Misawa Chris BenoitJushin LigerVaderBarry Windham (surprised I'm the first one so far)

  8. First of all, I enjoy watching both men's matches and promos. Angle is one of my favourite current WWE guys, where-as Bret is one of my all-time favourites. Regarding who is better...Purely on wrestling ability: Bret Hart - Hart's combination of technical skills, brawling (see WM XIII) and all-round in-ring storytelling made for some truly compelling matches that are (generally) well-regarded to this day.A versatile grappler Bret was also capable of adapting to different situations and getting the best out of often mediocre opponents. Although, I have enjoyed many of Angle's matches (particuarly against Austin and Benoit) I enjoy Hart's style much more.As an all-round performer: Bret Hart - As a character, 'The Hitman' was equally versatile: being equally good as a heel or a face. Angle's character is far better suited to being a heel. To be honest, I enjoy both men's interview styles and find some of Angle's 'Sports Entertainment'-style one-liners more entertaining than a lot of Bret's babyface ivs... However Hart's heel promos far surpass any of Angle's best work. For me, Hart's ablity to convey the ever-changing emotions of a realistic and believable character through the combination of how he wrestled, spoke and caried himself was wrestling at its best.
