  1. i've said it before but would it be that hard for the WWE to add a 'Recently Added' section to the Network? unless you go looking online beforehand if you log in you literally have no clue at what content has been added.

Yeah you would think after 3 years they would of added such a thing by now. I mean there are other places that offer ways to keep up to date with what they update each day but apparently its just too complicated for WWE to do so.

  2.

There's a few interesting new things up this week. A new WWE 24 is on tonight after Raw. It's a documentary on last years Raw after mania. Then tomorow it's the full sit down interview between Corey Graves and Kurt Angle after 205 Live. There's also another Bring it to th Table later in the week.

Have they actually fallen out with Austin then? He's not had a sniff since that horrible Ambrose interview. Always seems a waste having someone else do it other than Austin.

God I hope not. Watched my way though all the Austin interviews recently and they are all really good minus the obvious Ambrose one. Hopefully he's just been too busy with other projects and his ranch to film one.

  3. I've been watching some of the past Wrestlemania's, and I'm torn on which was the better match out of Angle HBK or Taker HBK at 25. Both are just brilliant but if you were to pick one, which would it be?

Ive watched both recently as well and I would still have to go Taker/Michaels at 25.

  4. Anyone here used to listen to Piledriver Wrestling from 2013-2015. Used to be really good and would fill the void for Wrestling Observer Radio when my subscriptions lapsed. The show just all of a sudden stopped being posted in the middle of 2015 after Hogan's racial comments were made public. I don't think the Piledriver site exists anymore.

  5. I know the attitude era podcast lads already did it, but I'd love the New Gen crew to keep going and cover the whole era, such an enjoyable show

Id be down for them doing the Attitude Era even if the era has been covered to death on many podcasts over the years.

Agreed. Bit of a cliche, but the more you listen, the more you feel like a bit of a family. The pods humour has got me through some tough times when all I wanted was familiarity and humour. It's a good dynamic as Stuart is obviously very knowledgeable, as is Adam, but Scrivens knows nothing really but is funny and I enjoy his ramblings.

I think they'll have a new angle once we get to the end of this era, which I presume will be WM14.

While I would be down for them going through to Mania X-7 I wouldn't mind them also going down the OSW road and just doing random wrestling storylines.

Tbh I'd like the NewGen lads to do their own hostile takeover and do WCW April 98 onwards with little trips into the Attitude Era.

I miss 3MP they were doing WCW from the Hogan heel turn onward. They got up to 1997 and haven't posted in over a year. Shame since I found them to be quite underrated and they never got the attention NGP or Attitude Era get.

  6. So started watching 1997 WWF. Only 6 RAWs in as well as the 1997 Rumble and my god am I sick of Ahmed and The Nation getting so much TV time. I know its only going to get worse when DOA and the Buriquas show up in the middle of the year. Watching the February 13th 1997 RAW as I write this and some of the responses from people in the crowd to Shawn's promo are quite let's say over the top especially given what he have learned in the ensuing years about what went down with that whole thing..

  7. Michael Cole in his intro to a Raw in December 1998 calls it "the most exciting action/adventure series on television".

Wasn't Vince doing the same thing during Half-Time Heat in January 99. That was their "buzzword" in that time period.

I still listen to it and enjoy it. They are starting to run a bit dry on interesting shows to review it feels but they're both so likeable and play off each other so well that it makes up for it. I listen to their Raw and Smackdown shows too for the same reason, despite watching neither.

I still listen to the Pollock/Ting shows but I can't stand the rest of the gang. Agnew and Lavranski are the drizzling shits.

Oh yeah Agnew & Lavranski are the shits alright. Agnew is such a smug prick as well.

Oh god yeah. The LAW show itself is fucking unbearable. Lavranski in particular is awful.

I haven't listened to The LAW since 2011. Only thing that made it bareable was the weekly Meltzer segment and thats only because it was before I started to sub to F4W and get the content/news first hand.

They plowed through a lot of stuff in the early days. In 2010 I think they reviewed 5-6 Mania shows in the build up for Mania 26 that year. I sorta just lost interest down to the lack of good shows they reviewed plus I find John Pollock extremely irritating so its a struggle to sit through their reviews.

OSW Review have revealed what their next batch of episodes will be. The 'Black Reign Arc' will cover the following from TNA in 2007-

Destination X, Lockdown, Hard Justice and Bound For Glory

Oh that could be great. Black Reign is one of the best running gags they got in 2016.

People will get to hear it tomorrow on Podcast One but i was listening to Russo's show on Friday night and the Disco Inferno told him that Bruce Prichard is getting over 3 million downloads on his podcast per month which Russo finds unbelievable. Then Disco said Chris Jericho once told him that in 2 years of Jericho doing his podcast he had over 120 million downloads in just those 2 years.

I'm not saying it's not possible but If Bruce Prichard is really doing over 3 million downloads per month then I can see why Jeff Jarrett hired him and not Vince Russo. Vince Russo is doing 250k per week.

I do have to say I am surprised. I've watched wrestling a long time and I can maybe count on one hand the amount of times I've heard the name Bruce Prichard mentioned on TV. Out of character. Some of you must know people that are casual fans or who watched in the 80s or late 90s. People that know the big names in wrestling. Do you know any casual fans that would know who Bruce Prichard was? Or even recognise the name Bruce Prichard? Infact I'm surprised there is even 3 million people willing to listen to wrestling podcasts. Who is listening to him? I heard Steve Austin's podcast did 1 million per week. Bruce Prichard is doing over 3 million? And Steve Austin is a household name? I just don't believe it at all.

Even typing the name Bruce Prichard that many times is weird for me. This guy is really getting 3 million downloads per month? And not even a casual fan would know who he is?

Im not putting out of the question for the Prichard show to be getting 3 Million downloads a month. That show has grown quite a bit the last few months and seems to get quite a bit of word of mouth hype on places like this. If you are interested in the whole backstage/BTS talk then his show is great for that and there are probably loads of people who would want to hear that stuff from someone who was involved with WWE for as long as Prichard was.

Also I am not surprised if Jericho has got over 120 Million downloads. He gets some big names that go outside just pro-wrestling. As good as his interviews are his whole gimmick as a host is pretty dreadful truth be told.

  10. This popped into my mind awhile back. With the whole wrestling podcast boom the last 4 years do people still pay attention or listen to Review-A-Wai from Live Audio Wrestling anymore. Before the massive explosion in wrestling podcasts that was pretty much the big one particularly in 201 and 2012. From what I have see from browsing on here and PWO  it doesn't seem to get mentioned anymore.
