They aired on different channels, therefore you had the Monday Night Wars of the mid to late nineties. They competed. Having it all on the same channel means you largely recycle the same audience as audiences are finicky things and have their territory channels which they watch religiously. (i.e. some watch ITV mostly... some watch BBC1 mostly... I watch Sky One/Paramount mostly) So your not neccesarily going to bring in larger audiences to british wrestling whilst if you have british wrestling on multiple television channels then you can snare the zealot viewers of that channel into being interested in wrestling so that they go snooping elsewhere. Again I point to WCW Monday Nitro/RAW Found one becoming boring they switched. Can't do that if they are on the same network... they just switch off.

Today's Weekly Gong reported that recently PRIDE won in a lawsuit against an American video company "RF Video" who illegally produced and sold PRIDE pirate videotapes. The court judged the president Robert Feinstein to pay PRIDE compensation for damage of ten million dollars within five years divided two million dollars per year. The amount of delvelopments that have come out in this thread are absouloutly unbelivable. It's a shocking read.

Low-ki, the biggest ever ROH star, will never wrestle for them again, based on principles. He has heat with Gabe as it was. AJ, as said, will not stand for this. What about the rest of the Zero-1 clan; Steve Corino & Samoa Joe? Two of their hugest names? A lot of their talent will stay as loyalty to Gabe, but a lot will leave due to principle. This has seriously damaged the good name of Pro Wrestling, TV stations will never touch ROH. It has no future. Venues will not let ROH book their premeses. Gabe will NOT be able to run this on his own, I will give the promotion 6 months AT A STRETCH. Who knows, maybe Gabe could end up getting himself a writing position within WWE, under the recomendation of Heyman and various wrestlers who have worked in ECW & ROH? I hope so, for his sake.
