I think I was a little aggressive (repeatedly) in the Scottish football thread.

That won't be a problem anymore. Tend to stay away from Scottish football chat now. More interested in other football now. Been a Goodison a couple of times this season.

I was also banned before I got a big boy job and had a child, who is now 2, strangely enough. No idea if at the time I was banned I was aware he was on his way.

I think I checked the site as a visitor two or three times in the following months of the suspension. Totally forgot about the place until that alarm sounded on my phone yesterday.

tiger_rick suspended me for 2 and a half years and it ran out this morning. True story, an alarm went off on my phone that I'd set back in 2012 to let me know, ha. I originally thought it was longer than that but I've checked the PM Rick sent at the time and it said 2012. This place has changed.

Can't believe I never seen this thread. The Beatles have been my favourite band since I first heard them when I was 14, in English and our teach would always put on his greatest hits album whenever he could. Been hooked since then.

It's been mentioned in this thread gently but if you haven't seen Nowhere Boy, get it seen now. Although technically it's more about John lennon growing up than anything else it really is an amazing film and awesome sound track.

Wilfred is so awesome. Elijah Wood is for the first time in his career actually good in something. Based on an Austrailian show that I've now also started watching because of it.

Watched London Boulevard this morning and found it really enjoyable. It seems to have got a hard time from the critics but as a standalone film I think it was great. Colin Farrell is awesome in it, as is Ray Winstone.

The score (by Serge from Kasabian) is absolutley immense.

Watched 'The Town' last night. Awesome film. Ben Affleck is an amazing director. He's not had one bad movie as a director.

William H Macy as Frank is the only character in the US version I'm not really sure of yet. Maybe it's because it's not the real Frank but for some reason he's the only one I didn't really enjoy.

Just downloaded Accidentally On Purpose episodes 1 and 2 there. Been gettiing decent reviews and ratings in the US so thought I'd give it a check. It's a comedy about a woman who gets pregnant after a fling with a younger man.

The premise isn't enough to hook me alone but as soon as I seen Jenna Elfman is the main star I was on it.

Of the new seasons starting in the US this year I've been impressed with FlashForward, Cougar Town and Glee. I really, REALLY recommend you to watch Glee. It's so cheesy but there's something about it that is just so adorable. There's lots of good humour in it aswell. Don't tar it with the High School Musical brush because it really is soooo much better.

Also loving The Vampire Diaries on The CW. So much so I've started to download the first season of True Blood which is apparently dozens of times better.

New Seasons I'm not liking are Modern Family and The Clevland show. As a massive fan of Family Guy I really wanted to love the latter but it just fails on every single level. Modern Family is just about as unfunny,

Of the returning seasons, One Tree Hill is doing really well and (SEASON 6 Spoiler for those in the UK)

Watched AdventureLand last night and totally fell in love with it. More actual drama based than comedy which I didn't expect going into it. The story is so brilliantly paced and really leaves you wanting more and more right up till the end.
